Uruguay 🇺🇾🇺🇾 seemed to be an interesting country to both visit and live in someday coming from the Philippines.
I've been drawn to Uruguay to live and retire. I am retired Professor in Medicine from University of Alberta, Canada, it has over 50K Medical Students from all over the World. Tuition Fee are very high but we still have many on waiting lists. I am however looking to teach part-time, in the med school and purchase a Land with horses, I love the Jineteadas I've been watching on youtube. I really want to move there, after we complete building Water Treatment Plants along the Amazon River for the Yawanawá Peoples. We will start building Jan 2022, but I will be with Company for one week, and go visit Uruguay for the 1st time.

@@LightBaggage, we have most of our Plans complete and the Funding, we are awaiting Work Visa's for some of the workers, as well as inoculations from Dysnetry, and Malaria, and many of our Workers have never left Alberta.

You should look also Florianapolis in Brazil. Very livable places. So many things to do and cheaper than here in Uruguay

On minute 4:20 you have a mistake. The Uruguay River do not meet the Atlantic Ocean in Salto. The Uruguay River runs into Rio de la Plata in Colonia del Sacramento. Then Rio de la Plata meets the Atlantic Ocean in Punta del Este. Hundreds of kilometers of distance.
Cabo Polonio looks so nice..

El Río Uruguay no se encuentra con el Océano Atlántico ni en Salto, ni en Paysandú, ni en Fray Bentos, porque simplemente no se encuentra jamás con el Océano Atlántico, en realidad se encuentra con el Río de la Plata, y eso sucede en Carmelo o Punta Gorda. Y si consideramos que el Río de la Plata es en realidad el Río Uruguay, pues sería en Punta del Este o Maldonado donde se encontraría con el Océano Atlántico.
