Amazing video and fab place,... The most difficult part of trek for solo trekker: keeping the camera at one place and then moving ahead shooting the clip, & again going back to take the camera🤪🤪😜 tiredness double😮💨
obviously the gopro max is old but it does a decent job whereas insta 360 2 is excellent but i stick to gopro because quality is slightly better than insta 360.
Nice video. One thing you forgot to cover is toilet protocol for solo trekkers - if its in the wild, you need to have a shovel to dig a hole into & the dirty toilet paper needs to go in a airtight ziplock that you have to carry back all the way out on exit
Hi Bro, just wanted to ask which shoe did you use for this trek? and were the shoes good for wet rocks grip? please help me with the same, thanks! Loved the content!
I used this shoe - www.decathlon.in/p/8502616/hiking-and-trekking-boots/mens-snow-hiking-shoes-sh520-x-warm-mid-black-red?id=8502616&type=p It is snowproof, waterproof and provide excellent grip.
Awsm. September me mai aur mere teen dost bhi (DIY) hampta pass trek karne wale hai. manali se Jobri aur Jobri se chikka eh tho theek hai par Trek start karne keliye kuch permit lena hai kya? i mean Jobri me kuch permission or rules hai kya aisa?
Yes, if you are travelling from manali side and will comeback to the same side, then you can park at the starting point of the trek. If you plan to do cross over till chhatru then i would suggest use public transport.
It's really awesome bro. I am also planning to do it solo this September. I just want to ask you one thing. Is the trail well marked? Like how do you manage to find the trail? Did you use any gps app or the trail is well marked itself?
Thanks bro. Yes, most of the trail is marked but i still used offline GPS to make sure i was going in right direction because while crossing the hampta pass, that dehradun group went on wrong trail and ended up getting stuck in a bad weather. Because of my offline maps, we were able to find the right trail and made it to sheaguru.
@@chasingsoul Thanks for your reply. As you have mentioned regarding using offline maps. Can I ask you a query? I have downloaded the Google map for the hampta pass trek and have availed it offline. I just want to know during the offline condition does the mobile gps show correct location or you use something else? Many many thanks brother again. Keep up
@@soul-o-safar8484 Yes, once you have it offline it shows your exact location, it may take 5-10 secs to update but shows precise location. Also, i would suggest you to visit in August because not sure sept me hampta pass tk snow kitna rhega.
I use these, they are the best option in this budget. They are waterproof, warm enough for snow and great grip for rainy season. Hey! Checkout this product on Decathlon App www.decathlon.in/qr/8502616/-1
no, because it was not anybody's fault. Police asked every company to stop trekking as they just send 50-100 people in a day and which is never good for a mountain.
you can rent it from Manali market itself, although buying the tent and sleeping bag is a cheaper option if you trek often. I am not aware about the prices but Manali market is expensive for these things as they don't let decathlon open up in himachal pradesh and monopoly.
@@chasingsoul Thanks for the reply. I appreciate. Also can we rent it through Delhi only? Also if I buy which beginner camp and sleeping bag would you recommend. Plus the utensils, can I get them in cheap in Manali?
yes bro, you can do this without guide. Trail is marked almost throughout, although i would suggest to download offline maps because that would help you at the pass. There are 2 ways at the top and the straight one is the wrong one. Rest the trek is alongside the river.
Please let me know that any permission required for Hampta pass trek, if Yes, how to get it & from where, it's may helpful for us, we r planning for mid June
you need to get a cab, it will cost you around 1200-1500 depending upon negotiation... also you can hitch hike if somwbody is going towards that direction
