  • This is the story of Hampta Pass Trek (14100ft). About how Akshay, after two failed attempts to complete a Himalayan Trek, managed to successfully mount the third time around. The fitness woes, the difficult terrain, shooting and trekking at the same time, everything pointed towards another failed attempt, but he showed that sometimes you just have to want it enough to make it happen! And then the Chandrataal Lake is just like a cheery on the top, absolute beauty!!
    And a huge huge shoutout to ‪@Tripsaa_‬ for making sure that Akshay is able to see the other side of the trek. Tripsaa is one of the few organizations out there who are providing such a relaxed and fulfilling experience on a trek. From food to accommodation to on-trek experience they have made this trek a memorable one for all of us!

    • @XploreTheEarth
      @XploreTheEarth  Год назад

      Hey, so almost all these organisations carry what they call toilet tents.
      They dig a pit, provide a seat and cover the entire thing with a tent.
      And then afterward the pit is filled back.
      This is the best these organisations can do, so as to minimise disturbing nature and provide comfort to the trekkers.
      Hope this helps. 😀

    In which month u guys trekked?

    • @XploreTheEarth
      @XploreTheEarth  Год назад

      We trekked at the end of August! But I would recommend that you check weather forecast especially if you are going in monsoons. Rain can really make the trek tricky. 😅

      Hum end of August mein gaye the. Immediately post monsoons is best for lush greenery.
      If you like snow you may want to go in winters!
      Hope this helps. 😀

      If you are going by yourself then no. If you are going with an organiser then yes, they do dig a pit inside a covered toilet tent.
