- ‘Say When’ is an instrumental rock album containing 7 distinct tracks. The album was originally composed in the Summer of 2023 and all parts were recorded before September 2023. Since this, they have been constantly re-mixed until now, at a point that I can let it go. I have spent a longer time than anticipated on this project, but the process of learning and experimenting have been extremely valuable. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Say When. - A dramatic piece about tension and release, associated with the exaggeration of a waiter pouring a drink and asking “say when”.
A Fragile Balance - Explores the balance between sounding too thoroughly composed or too loose through uneven bar lengths and various key signatures.
Dream Catchers - A mix of 3 different piano improvisations arranged into an abstract piece.
The Break - Originally, the piano chord progression was composed in 2020 and has been recycled into a new piece.
The Salesman - Inspired by classical waltz’s, this piece combines rock with a waltz to create a rock waltz.
Larger Than Life - This piece explores a more traditional song structure through verses and choruses and the second half of the track gives way to a solo section.
An Empty House - A melancholy piece revolving around a piano polyrhythm in ⅝ following a long build up until the synthesisers fade out.
All songs were performed (apart from the drum kit), recorded, mixed and mastered by myself.
The artwork shown in the videos was created by myself by manipulating images taken during my time studying at Keele University.
