Life is a beautiful experience of mystery and discovery. We take it way too serious, and in taking it too serious we stress ourselves and each other out. Life happens so fast, 70 - 90 years if we're lucky...and many people haven't made it past childhood. If you're reading this, you're alive, and that is a mystery and miracle because the odds of us being here are crazy low. I'm diving deeper into myself lately, learning from Watts and using books like 30 Days to Discover Who I Am by Harper Daniels for mindfulness meditation exercises and the Tao Te Ching and Gita. I love diving into books and audios that make me realize this is a quick but beautiful experience, even when it's dark and painful. Whatever your experience, I hope that you have accepted it in the here and now, before it is gone.

@@JustinB_5 I liked The Power of Now a lot, but I don't follow him regularly. I prefer practical workbooks or the Tao Te Ching. I love the flow of Watts also.

Well said. Though I feel robbed of not being able to grasp the experience of a simple life. No one should have to go through feeling in some way of being cheated out of a life just wanting simplicity just as we were supposed to. That's how I feel about it anyway.

I woke up from my Christian blunder. The worst 10 years of my life. I felt as if I was lying and cheating myself out of life and my full potential at being, 'I am.' Listening and remembering bible quotes didn't make it any longer. I was hungry for more, I was hungry for truth. That was 37 years ago. The best 37 years of my life!

Heavenly Father, bless me this New Year, only you know the burdens I face. As a single mom I’m struggling to make ends meet. Lord give me strength to get through each day. Both of my sons are autistic and require much from me. It’s difficult to raise children alone. BUT I keep faith Lord Jesus. Even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I’m so ashamed. Jesus deliver me from my anxieties, and my troubles. Heal me from my lupus and heart disease. Help me to find strength when I am weak, And hope when I am afraid. Amen. ❤

i like playing power wash simulator in vr while listening to alan watts and the hearing part he sad about holigrams really hit different
I just wish I could ever find the Alan watts quotes I am looking for in video form without added sfx. His voice alone carries all of his meaning, there is no reason to added excess noise.
