Personally, I think when a Source Dragon dies, they reincarnate I strongly think Riyu is the balance source dragon reborn and once he’s old enough, his powers will stabilize the elements that were lost due to the Source Dragon dying.
It would make sense with some hints we received. Also, I'm really not sure something considered to be basically a Primordial God could just 'die' like that without any back up, unless another Source dragon had been plotting behind them all. Regardless, it feels like in D&D lore where those dragons REPRESENT their theme. So if balance is killed for good, the concept of balance would never exist again (and probably cause the world to collapse killing all mortal souls)

I feel like Master Wu along with Arins Parents are trapped in those Rift Pockets and Wu found a way to communicate outside them and guide them for brief periods before he loses his connection on the other side. It would also explain where Beatrix Ended Up and how Arin saw his parents during the end of S1. We can also assume Garmadon is probably in there somewhere along with hundreds of unfortunate victims who weren’t saved by the merge. Now the reason i believe wu would be able to communicate outside the rift pockets is because he’s the cause of the merge or was likely tricked into causing the merge by someone maybe Ras Master and essentially manipulated it to Ras that he did it on purpose when he was an accident. Also I think the Merge was also caused by Ras Master because he couldn’t succeed in his plans of killing the Source Dragons if the realms are divided.

Arin explanation: Arin has shown a lot of talent with spinjitzu, so its possible that Wu's element chose Arin. Lloyd explanation: Lloyd had the power of the first spinjitzu master within him in the 1st 2 seasons of Masters of Spinjitzu, which we learned in season 8 that his powers were both Creation and Destruction from the Oni and Dragon. Garmadon inherited Destruction whle Wu inherited Creation, than when Lloyd went through the ritual at the Temple of Light, he inherited both, and then he lost it after the Overlord took it in season 3, after that it devolved into Energy or Life, but now Wu is dead or disembodied, so Wu may not have his element anymore meaning it could have been given to Lloyd, but Lloyd hasnt unlocked the element's True Potential. His green energy power was something he must have got as a child (but who gave it to him?), but what intrigues me are Garmadon's powers. He does create a stone giant after all...was destruction passed on to him through the snake bite or when the FSM died?
Okay, but remember that the Elemental Master of Balance took place in the Tournament of Sources so at the very least the death of the Source Dragon of Balance did not cause that masters death. @boxiers218 yes but the source dragons according to DR are the creators so they would have made both the dragon and the oni, my best guess is Balance SD made the first realm and the dragon and oni, then FSM created ninjago with his power of balance, then he gave his sons creation and destruction, and gave Lloyd golden power. These are also the powers on the chart of SD, but still these are just my thoughts🙃

After Master Wu dies, if Balance is his power then he loses his power and it passes to Kizzy, the new Elemental Master of Balance, As we saw in Season two- Kizzy Vs Sora, After all this I possibly think that Master Wu died because of the merge l, because how does a source dragon die and still is alive?

@boxiers218 yes but the source dragons according to DR are the creators so they would have made both the dragon and the oni, my best guess is Balance SD made the first realm and the dragon and oni, then FSM created ninjago with his power of balance, then he gave his sons creation and destruction, and gave Lloyd golden power. These are also the powers on the chart of SD, but still these are just my thoughts🙃
