hola!! tengo la duke 790 y queria esta moto pero me pregunto como es posible que un motor 1300 no sea capaz de llegar a 300 Km/H? es tan hermosa pero me da tanta rabia eso queria comprar la 2023 pero creo que es peor y a nivel de confiabilidad mecanica te ha salido bien?
I've only used LC once so far, but I'm eager to try it again this year. Considering you have AWM off, does it still pull the front wheel off the ground with LC on? Or do you have to modulate the throttle to keep the front wheel down?
LC on and AWM off yes we have accelerated manual dosing to send the wheel to the ground in 1 gear mainly and then body positioning is also on the fronts to help!
yes, as you can see in the video, the traction light is flashing in 1 gear 2gear even if the AWM is off, that is, doing LC the traction control acts on it further on, lift it on it but not too much because DTC acts on it then respond to your question can give a fist in depth but it's always good to be careful and several aspects!
How did it not pop a wheelie on second gear AWM OFF ?
2 cylindre sounds so much better than the 3 cylindre engines,
feel like the topspeed on the newer gens are slower compared to the first gen i own the first gen it could hit 299 on the autobahn while the newer ones i see top at around 280-287

@@Kutu_rm22 why is that though? I assume new gen has not less hp nor torque? Gearing? I doubt they are limited, I've seen a couple videos of top speed runs and it looked like the bike just couldn't go any further.
@@topdoge2632 Good look, I can also rope with you because I've seen a lot of videos! but I'm going to give my opinion of mine, if my KTM this direct exhaust and air filter DNA everything else is original, now there's something to see when I'm 270 km / h this and it's a mark on the panel it may not be 100% right, later At this speed on this bike I can reach 5 speeds, I still have the sixth speed, then it is almost impossible to stay at this speed, the wind pressure on the helmet is very strong.
Most likely reason is the Gen 1 had a more inaccurate speedometer, get out the gps speed and I doubt it'll hit 299. The newer gens have much better electronics, and likely more accurate readings.
The Gen 3 superduke actually makes considerably more HP at the wheel, and can hit 299 on the speedometer, with a gps speed of around 280-290. I owned both a gen 1 and now a Gen 3, and the Gen 3 feels faster to me personally (never owned a gen 2 so can't compare to that).
100-200kmph - We can see the 6th gear take bit longer than 4th and 5th gear. 6th gear has lowest torque than other lower gears. Am i right? Can we take this as reason for that?
yes it is true the 6 speed is too long for that very torque. so many people who have this bike want to change the transmission ratio from 17-41 to 16-45, but with 16-45 be careful it gets too strong…

@@Kutu_rm22 stock is 17/38 with a 112 link chain. I run mine 16/40 with a 114 link chain, much better.

here Europe Portugal around 15000 euro used. New 21000 thousand euros.
It is risky without steering demper, bike is vobling to much.
Ktm team must add steering demper in super Duke.
The bike comes with a WP damper. It is mounted directly under the steering stem.
It has a steering damper. The problem is that it is not adjustable and the stock oil is 2.5W. it is recommended to swap the oil for a thicker one, like 15W or 20W oil, as it makes a big difference at higher speeds.

@@gabrielcastro6738 o amortecedor vem com óleo 2.5W, quase que parece água. O que se costuma fazer é trocar por um mais espesso, 20W por exemplo. Na minha fez muita diferença
