The whole point in going abroad and being an international student is to gain exposure, leaving the comfort zone to learn more. Settling for the same old habits won't help. Having some people from same background is good but relying on them completely is not the way.💁🏻♀️
the problem is that most Indians only want to study in the uk. my parents refuse to send me anywhere other than uk even if it would be cheaper on their end and easier on mine

Mate, I have had this on my mind for years...all my friends who are in Canada or the UK are only engaging with the indians there. That is the greatest mistake you can do while going abroad.

I totally agree that many students, especially Indian students, are not open to new things. Part of the reason could also be because our parents tend to bring us up that way. We're not forced to be independent compared to students in other students. With that being said one can always have the urge to learn new things :)
He’s talking sense. Hopefully coming to the uk in jan 2022 intake have gotten my offer letter. Hopefully things workout well for me and I am there to get the best experience as a sponge !

@@hiccup7631 confused between queen mary university London for MSc management and Aston. Because as much as I would love to be in London it’s too expensive and idk if it’s worth the hype. Also aston in is Birmingham which is roughly 2 hours away from London so….

Indian students rarely live in university Accommodation because they want to save money and live in houses with lots of friends, that's why u can't integrate ..

Very clever brother 👏 👍 but this issue is with everyone and everyone gets put in comfort zones and ppl stick to them then anyone else is looked upon as an outsider is the ability to connect with strangers and allow to trust people that they don't know basically we need unity and acceptance, instead of looking at someone you don't know like a stranger because we're all strangers so just get to know one another honestly
