Why are we fitting and predicting on ridgecv or lassocv ; They are the instances for gridsearch ; Why are we not fitting our model on ridgeregressor or lasso regressor ? Once we get the value of alpha from grid search where are we using it ?? There seems to lot of confusion in this.

I just checked it, what he has done is correct. Its just that he didnt explain in detail about it. If you go by the regular way you shall use alpha value while creating the object of Ridge class. For ex- ridge = Ridge(alpha = 20) then ridge.fit(X_train,y_train)....
