In today's video, I decided it would be fun to share how I pack for a longer vacation, and what I am bringing! My family and I are going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and staying at a resort for a week! We are so excited so I am trying not to over-pack! why do people care so much if somebody overpacks... like hell yeah. you're going on vacation, take whatever you want, enjoy yourself
Yeah! I pack a lot because i love it when I have a lot of options for clothes.
It is a vacation after all.
abby robinson I don’t see a big issue with over packing, like woo enjoy ur trip look cute! But it’s a pain trying to remember all ur items when packing up to leave and the laundry process and having to hang so much up. Along with having to pay more on the plane because I packed a lot but.
Anyways I support over packing I just wouldn’t and I’m not gonna Stick my nose in someone’s packing business anyways bye ☺️

That pink tropical swimsuit is EVERYTHING 😍
I think it doesn't matter if you over pack, as long as you leave space to bring back souvenirs and things you buy over there hehe.
I only really pay attention not to over pack when I'm going on scouting camp, but I think that's only logical. On private vacation I just bring what I want

Honestly love how she says her worst nightmare would be to over pack. Then proceeds to pack 5 bathing suits, 4 jean shorts, and like 8 tops for only 7 days hahahahahahha

I like to bring an extra shirt if I am not able to use a washing machine because you might spill but I do still agree with you!
But I agree because she did bring like 20 of everything but I guess that is what she likes to pack!
Yes I do agree but there might not be a washing machine and if her clothes get dirty she can't do anything also when I went on a holiday and brought only 7 dresses for a week which I think was my biggest mistake and their WAS a washing machine but I still needed more and I had to go to the shop to buy more clothes
Yes but T-shirt’s shorts and bathing suits don’t take up that much space and nor T-shirt a day in a hot climate where you will sweat a lot is reasonable
You should bring 3 swimsuits that could be mismatched so it will look like you have 6 swimsuits. Like your black bottom with floral tube top, the green bottom would go great also with floral tube top. 👍🏻

We went to Punta Cana in feb. it was a great trip. Bring all bathing suits. You’re in them every day. Bring a couple pair of shorts, cover ups (wear them to breakfast)and sundresses for dinner. You’ll have a great time. Enjoy!

We literally pack the same!!! Hate to admit it but i always pack way more than i need to bring if I have the space I'm like whatever! I'd rather be prepared for anything especially on a resort where you're gonna want to take cute pictures and feel pretty on vacation. Not everyones cup of tea, but you do you boo💃🏻

Great idea getting the suitcase covers. Use a packing cube and put it in your carry on beach bag this way things don't fall out during travel, great picks on the swim suits you picked girl! Good job! Packing is so hard 🙋🏻have a great trip

Lenka Ondrejková Yeah two swimsuits 1 pair of pajamas 2 shorts 3 shirts 1 dress skirt if you like one 3 items of jewelry makeup/toiletries devices you need 1 pair of sunglasses and pillow and blanket if your like me a cat or two done.
maybe she was going to wear a different outfit each day (diff shirt, diff pants, ya know)
but I dont understand the swimsuit situation

Where do you pack all your souvenirs? Also a great trick I'd to put shoes in shower caps so if there's anything on the bottom of them it doesnt get on your clothes or all over the suitcase pocket. And I usually bring garment bags for dirty clothes so laundry is easier when you come home and if you take a swim at the last minute you have a better way to store a wet suit on the way home away from clean dry clothes:-)

I like the last pair of sunglasses the best. They are really really cute.
I admit, I have way too many clothes at home. But I would never take them all on vacation! I'm traveling through the US for about 3 weeks this summer and I think I will bring about this amount of shirts/ bottoms, but only 1-2 dresses and a lot less accessories and toiletries. I can wear the same top for 2 days and then just wash my clothes in the sink when I need to. I'm taking my hiking backpack and I want to make sure I can put my carry-on in it after the flight so it's easy to carry.
Girlll im going for a month to Poland and im packing everything in just a carry on. You’re going for a week, bringing a huge suite case and overpacking. Not a hate comment just my opinion

Oh man I wish I had this video two weeks ago! I just got a set from calpack and those covers really would have come in handy since one of my luggage’s lost a wheel on our flight 😭 I’m ordering them now for the other two pieces!

2 swim suits. 2 beautiful sarongs. 1 pair shorts and 2 shirts. 1 dress. 1 pair casual/water sandals, 1 pair dressy sandals. Undies, toiletries, travel clothesline, done! All in a weekender/small carry on.
Question how much were both of those luggage’s? Currently looking at a calpak set but it’s $176 not sure if that’s a good deal hahaha
