The kukis have to learn their history of migration to India as a British policy to counter the Nagas. They should have adopted the Meiti culture to assimilate better in the society. History proofs everything ❤️thank you so much sir 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️ Meitei and Naga(except Nagaland's Naga) have same origins living together for thousand's of years in Manipur but not with Kuki.Still now, in Lai Haraoba(an important festival of Meitei people celebrated to please the Umang lai,the traditional dieties of Sanamahism) , there is an event called Tangkhul saba(a male actor playing the role of a Tangkhul, a Manipuri Naga tribe) has been performed for the last years on the last day of this festival as compulsory. It signifies the symbol of love between two lovely brothers i.e ,Hills and Valleys.
The Manipuri Nagas and Meitei have same clans of origin .They lived together since the time immemorial on the hills.Manipuri Nagas are considered to be the elder brother of the Meitei.Later on, the younger brother Meitei was starting to live in the valley parts of Manipur.The Tangkhuls(one of the Naga tribes in Manipur) were said that there is still the spot at Hungdung in Ukhhrul district, from where the Tangkhul,who are considered to be the elder brother of the Meitei,look at the valley to see light put by the lovely younger brother Meitei.
This is the real reason why the Meitei celebrate "Mera Wa Yungba" (A celebration of put on the light using bamboo/iron rods on every houses of Meitei to know 'we are alive/in safe on the valley' to his elder brother Naga).So much is the love between the two brothers that even now the footprint of Meitei kings are kept till now by elder brothers Naga.
Many similarities between Meiteis and Manipuri Nagas are still here in many forms like cultural, marriage,rituals, languages, natures,foods,dresses etc.
But being a Meitei,such types of any deep history have not been seen from Kuki community. However, our Meitei and Manipuri Naga forefathers always told us about how much is the love , relationship,between Meitei and Manipuri Naga since the time immemorial.We have never heard the history of Kuki-zo settlement in Manipur before the British arrived in India.But now they claim thier "SEPERATE ADMINISTRATION"from Manipur by creating some fake history.
All I have said above is my own experienced knowledge from my elders and teachers.

Whereas an LDC belonging to Meitei Communities paid income tax for development of the State/Nation by contributing at least some money in the form of Income Tax.

As My grandpa used to told, our ancestor first settled at the Koubru Hills ,which the kuki claims their's and try to change the history by changing its name . but it's a holy place for meiei ,you can never get it.
1st answer, is Meiteis were started from Shang dynasty central , eastern coast of China came to India Manipur through Ningthi river then Ireel river by pony horses Ultimately settled at KOUBRU hills at the North Imphal, TANGJA LEELA PAKHANGBA was the first Meitei King and Senbi Leima D/O of Hai hao tribal king was the queen settled at Manipur 1445 BC ie 3468 years old the people were known as Mi-ties .
So when Naga and Meitei separated from each other?
