A Coniston Adventure - Camping & Hiking in Lake District - April 2023

In April 2023, Cameron & I travelled to Coniston for a few days to explore & camp in this beautiful part of The lake District.
We did so much! Took a boat out on Coniston Water, hiked a few trails including a section of The Cumbria Way & the Tarn Hows circular, walked around the village of Coniston enjoying the early Spring climate, as well as venturing to Grasmere for a walk around to some of my favourite spots.
We camped in my little 2-man tent for the first two nights, and on the third night I had booked us a bell tent with a log burner! It was such a special trip, one I'll always find myself coming back to as it was a perfect adventure to go on together.
(This actually took place before I hiked the Coast to Coast! The camera used for this was my GoPro Hero 7 White which films in 1080p, which as you know from my C2C videos my more up to date hikes are filmed in 4K with my GoPro Hero 11 Black)

The fighter jets look like F-15s...I think they'd have to be American USAF based at RAF Lakenheath (seems like a longish way from there but in a supersonic jet like that, not all that far). Seen loads of them on Lake District videos...good place to practice terrain masking and the scenery not too bad either!
