- After 33 years of being one of the best HBCU Classic in the country, the Southern Heritage Classic is coming to an end. The Sonic Boom put on a phenomenal performance at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, TN.

Great job BOOM and media team. I mean I’m not one to complain but I believe recordings shouldn’t take no longer than 24 hrs to get it. Those views belong to our media team. I hate seeing other media teams have their recordings out when we have our own media team which does such a fantastic job! Your fans would greatly appreciate it!

It’s a real dominating sound from The Boom this year. Dawg Team makes all those cords so heavy and those trumpets 🎺 give a layer to the music that makes it undeniably good.

For the people asking what took so long. I don't know, but I know Jackson doesn't even have clean water, so I'm just happy they got it done at all

@@tabromo5 I lived in Jackson the first 25 years of my life and you live there now. Neither one of us should question the media team's commitment to their responsibilities without evidence as to whether the water crises affected them or not. That's why I said I don't know. They did have to move off campus which is time consuming. They're taking online classes which actually is more demanding. I also dont think the band is getting the executive treatment that the football team is getting right now. Let's just give them some grace.

Booooooy when mid season rolls around TF and FunkyHorns are going to be in rare form. They already sending but when they fully grasp playing as a unit that ish is gonna be crazy. The whole band pushing and the arrangement direction is very complementary to the sound and what they are really capable of. Keep putting them pens to work. The kids definitely got the talent. #LuvDaBoom

The Boom has definitely brought the smoke. Those trumpets are on fire. TSU was alright, but they didn't bring the smoke.

This is usually a great band battle, however I was a bit underwhelmed with TSU... The Boom was sooo dominant... I was a lil worried from the Merge, but my worries are diminished... I look forward to this level of stand performance momentum, delivery, and energy from The Boom all season long... Absolutely sublime!

I wouldn’t even call it complaining. I could really care less tbh. I saw the battle on Smashtime but I didn’t want to. I wanted to see on ours. I just want our band and media team to succeed to the fullest. Smashtime has 24k+ views in 3 days. Those views belong to us (RUclips pays for this).

Thank you for getting this out, but what took so long? Your supporters and fans want this content sooner than five days after.. If possible, please work on that. I understand if there are extenuating circumstances..

@@JonDtheproffessor how does that negate what we’re saying? There have been constant recordings since the 70’s. And with today’s technology, it’s important to make your content available sooner than later. It helps market the brand. No one should be beating us putting out our content. That’s the point.

I agree 100%. I find myself literally waiting for our media team to post the content the same day or the next day only to discover it posted the following Thursday, LOL. Like what is taking so long? It’s not much editing to do at all.
