The Nickelodeon and Nick Jr apps are shutting down.

- Nickelodeon and Nick Jr are officially going to shut down their apps. As it seems....they will have a big change despite them being identical to the websites and Nick Jr's still not having the modern splat logo as of now. I guess they will focus more on the sites and Paramount+ now.

Just sad to see the Nickelodeon and Nick Jr apps are shutting down. My guess is due to Paramount Plus being more accessible. This is the way tv is going sadly. Cable and satellite as we know it will be gone in 5-7 years if not sooner sadly.
As for Paw Patrol being the face of Nick Jr., don’t be surprised if that’s due to the new movie being a megahit.

The Nick jr didn’t shutdown because of the paw patrol movie it just shut down because they want more people to get paramount plus and paw patrol really isn’t a awful show honestly it can be cringey at times but I’m almost 20 years old and not the only one who loves the show
@@bingofromblueyfan no I definitely agree. If Nick Jr does shut down, Paw Patrol would be a show I could see moving to Paramount Plus.

This isn't good to see happen, especially for the mainline Nickelodeon app. I'm seriously starting to wonder if Nickelodeon and its subchannels (Nick Jr., NickToons, TeenNick and Nick Music) might shut down in the near future. Then it'd just be Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and PBS Kids left.
The 3 latter feeds you mentioned are also lacking
Disney Channel will might be moved to the new app Disney is working on (since other international channels of Disney, Jr, and XD has shut down (or rebranded in India and Russia.)) The same thing can be also said with Nick and its sisters channels, especially NickMusic, this time with Pluto Tv or Paramount+. I honestly blame cable providers and the animation and writers strike for the end of Nick and Nick Jr apps.

Honestly paw patrol isn’t that bad there’s worse shows out there I find it funny that people will hate kids shows for no reason I’m almost 20 years old and enjoy the show it has some really funny moments and it’s honestly underrated when it comes to that it’s like people don’t give it a chance but people just don’t need to hate kids shows people just should keep that stuff to themselves
awww.....i will miss both the nick and the nick jr app! i used to have fun with these apps since likeee......2013/2014, but then i stopped in 2016. i used to watch videos, play games, do the little funni don't touch thingys, etc since i couldn't stream the shows cuz my family was broke ( i think i had to pay for the stream thingy back, idk. ) but again, i will miss these epik apps. it was fun while it lasted, nick and nick jr apps. R.I.P.

Disney junior went downhill in the 2020's
I remember was seen advertising for Nick App since i was 11 years old, and i literally seen some of episode of sanjay and craig for free episode on nick app, but now it's gone.

@@joshmangamer255 No. I like that show in my opinion, and many others like it, too. There's way worse shows out there (i.e. Cocomelon, Velma, Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon and Pocoyo).
