Most noticeable improvement for me was how the glitchy artefacts from the fast tuning were toned down and stopped being the most noticeable thing in the vocal.
The song is called "Bad4Me" by Joey Nelson, and should be out soon. There will be a full length tutorial on the song as well distributed by Produce Like A Pro.
It corrected the eq of the voc but at the cost of making it more blurry and less contrasty. It's less interesting to listen to but it has a better eq balance. I never liked Gullfoss or Soothe on vocals for those reasons
Can you name a few songs that exist that utilize Soothe or Gullfoss on the vocals where you’re not a fan? I’d be curious if this is just personal taste for you when mixing or if what you’re saying actually translates on music that has utilized these tools.
@@WeissAdvice I also didn’t like soothe until I started using it in parallel-much more smooth operation I found. Gullfoss in this use case also rocks-just like you have it: upper mids on tame

I like how it is smoothing the vocal nicely😊
Still winning at shirts.
This is actually a fashion channel.
Sounds really intuitive. Think ahl give this one a go, 14day demo I see. Thanks very much Mr Weiss, great review
The vocals sound amazing, I wanna hear the whole song.

Hey bro would you use this with your Saturn 2 trick you shared too?
I have this and have only been using it on master bus. Hmmmm...How would you compare to Soothe2 as a tool on vocals?
That’s probably the plug-in he’s talking about in this video. I don’t know any other ones.
There are a lot of people who love Soothe2. I am not personally one of those people. But I'm definitely in the minority here.
@@WeissAdvice Knew it! 😂

@WeissAdvice good to know!! I don't use it as much as I thought I would. 😅
