You have to respect Jaune. He clearly hasn't had anyone who was attracted to him up until he got to Beacon, broke his heart trying to go after Weiss, and when he finally realised someone who loved him for who he is, she was killed immediately after. He even used what was left of her circlet and weapons to decorate and strengthen his armour, and there's no way he looks at his gear and doesn't think of Pyrrha and his tragic experience with her. And despite all this trauma, he still continues onward to do the things that need to be done to protect the world.
This guy is stronger than I could ever wish to be.
I agree. A lot of people under estimate Jaune because of his lack of fighting ability. But he is a strategy master, he picked up on everyone's strengths and weakenesses in a matter of minutes, where as with other people it would take them a few training sessions to figure out. And he did that at the beginning of the show before his team was officially formed. And he was able to sneak himself into Beacon so he could reach his goal to become a great hero. And even after all the crap he went through, he stuck to his dream and kept moving on. I can connect with him easily. This is why I look forward to see where he goes in the show. I want to see him grow stronger, and to laugh and cry with his friends. This is why Jaune is my favorite character.

At the beginning, I honestly couldn’t figure out who was singing. Jaune always seemed like the confident one with no fear when he first met with Pyrrha (at least in her eyes), but yet she also was supposed to be the strongest of them all, leading and being praised. But when the singer sings about losing whoever she was singing about, I realized that yes, it was Jaune. Because Pyrrha may have lost Jaune when she died, but he lost her and had to deal with never seeing her again and having realized she loved him too late.
Also, this is probably one of my favorite songs from RWBY now.

4 years ago this amazing man died on my birthday, in those 4 years I have completed school, started and ended countless hobbies, gone through jobs, and finally joined the United States Marine Corps. I recently thought of this again and came back to listen to it to give a tribute to him and all that he's done. He was my inspiration and I'll be damned if I let him down (4 years later and I still cry like a bitch)

Anyone who says they need to bring back Pyrrah, no. No they don't, and they shouldn't. This makes Jaune a SO MUCH deeper character. I rest assured knowing that Jaune will avenge her. Her shield, crown, and sash are all a part of him and his weapons now. She will never leave him, and rest assured, he will never forget her. It will be such a cheap move to bring her back. Communicating with her spirit, sure, but full on resurrection, no. Where they left their relationship is so much deeper. She never admitted to loving him, and that will tear at him forever. She never admitted it to him, because deep down, she felt that for all her power, ALL HER STRENGTH, that she failed him when she didn't tell him about the fall maiden and what Oz wanted her to do, or how she truly felt about him. He knows that she loved him, but he will NEVER get to hear it, and that makes him so much stronger. Because she is gone, we will get a much deeper Jaune, and I KNOW that he will avenge her. She was the push he needed, and she needs to stay that way.
Not sure if I'm exactly in agreement for the overall story. (I'm referring to all of the next volumes as well). I will say however that until the cast of characters and audience fully grasp the emotional extent of this sad scene that she needs to stay dead, and i mean completely. Although if I were writing i would bring her back in a few volumes but with either amnesia, or on the villains side. Without going to much into speculation and all, I believe that she isn't dead completely. I presume that part of her is now part of Cinder. To me this would be the more shocking and detrimental revelation but especially if neither side was aware of this until meeting Jeane. I would also put that soon after the point where the majority of the characters had come to terms with her death. And then you know further down the line bring her main mentality back... What can I say I'm a sucker for happy endings.
Also up somewhere I had a few choice words about the full extent of this and why I wouldn't be against bringing her back later. However, I'd say that you and me are actually in agreement when it comes to the emotional outcome on the characters.
I can appreciate being a sucker for happy endings. I'm more of a sucker for overcoming massive personal trauma myself, so her coming back as a villain, like Grimm possessed or something, and Jaune being forced to free her soul, that would crush me with feels, but it would make for an amazing spectacle. I feel like freeing her soul would be enough of a happy ending for me. I'm totally calling that Jaune kills Cinder though, to avenge Pyrrha if nothing else.
It's very pleasant to be talked to like a normal human being or sentient creature. Also have you considered the possibility that Juane might be the "Wizard" or a descendant I mean.
Of course, we're all fans of the same show after all. I don't think Juane is the Wiz, I think Ozpin is the "Wizard" Oz, wizard, Wizard of Oz. Also, his companions, Qrow=Scarecrow, Ironwood=The Tin Woodsman, Glenda=The Good Witch, and I THINK Taiyang (Yang's dad)=The Cowardly Lion, but that last one isn't confirmed. Jaune is based on Joan of Arc, someone who masqueraded as something they weren't to rise to great power, but, in the end...was burned at the stake, accused of being a witch (possible reference to how, if, he does die.)

The love of my life recently passed away from an overdose, Fentynal. Just yesterday. She was amazing. I had known her for almost 9 years. She had a son, who is going to be 3 on April 8th.
I'm really going to miss her, and her son that I've come to love over the past few years.

This song reminds me of my life kinda. I grew up in a very violent and dark life alone and my fiance came to me and took me in. At the time i was covered in so much darkness I didn't know how to love or what being loved was like. She ended up dying for me. She helped me to develop better qualities over time and I feel like she turned me into a brighter person. Sad yes but she had so much going on with herself n she never stopped smiling telling me she would always protect me and it was gonna be alright. I feel like if it wasn't for her I'd not be the man I am today. So thanks for this song. Truly appreciate the beauty and sadness in it. RIP Amanda L Lucas.
