I dont know why in english they translated it like that. I watched it in other languages just to be sure and in the part where Kafka gets promoted the vice captain says "you saved a lot of lives because of the information you gave us about the reproductive organs...." idk they made it sound weird here.
In what way it was weird? Its exactly what happened.
@@nstorm2415 Because in the english subs it only says "you saved a lot of lives" and for a lot of reactors it sounds like "You did everything" you can see it even in this video. By mentioning what exactly he did you avoid this.... You know, like EVERY OTHER language did

edit: maybe it didnt happened, it was so obvious that it was because of that, i never questioned it. Cant get why other people wouldnt get the reason they accepted him.

i don’t know how to put into words to why but this anime is captivating me in a way other new animes who used the same tropes weren’t, im having so much fun

It feels nostalgic for some reason. I read the manga years ago so i dont remember much but the anime did a really good job establishing the world and characters
it's how they do storytelling effectively. no wasted duration, no stretching out key moments, every character gets clear depiction of motives and objectives without meaningless going around, good pacing (heck, it's fast af if we're going by dbz or one piece standard :p), most important of all: the director really nailed what "showing not telling" means.
They burn out faster when going full limit all the time. Shinomiya who could kill the mushrooms in one hit couldn't power her gun the same and had to resort to the sign post.
Yeah, it's stamina as well as you don't need to go all out at all times. If you can smash a mountain with a punch, you don't need that much strength to open a door. Mina at full strength was blasting holes in a giant kaiju. But she doesn't need that sort of power for the smaller ones. She'd be destroying more of the city than she saved.
Normally the limiters are put in place to prevent putting too much strain on the equipment and/or body. Fighting with them removed could cause health issues in the long term or require him to replace the expensive suit.

it’s just because until now he punched his enemies into dust without any difficulty, like, his power level a few episodes ago was 9.8/10, he’s really OP in his universe (plus the goofiness from all the characters)

Early Naruto, OP, Bleach, MHA, and so many started light-hearted too. That's expected for these type of WSJ shows with a big cast of characters.
One punch man is essentially parodic comedy of the genre. Kaiju doesn't particularly stand out in that department, to me.

id imagine that the pet food business is booming in this world, the sheer amount of biomass the kaiju leave behind certainly isn't going to be wasted but is also likely not fit for human consumption, the kibble you see being fed to the tiger i imagine is formulated from kaiju flesh, making it possible to have some pretty niche pets without having to worry about their diet.

they are all already officers! kafka was a cadet, so he basically got promoted to be on equal footing with everyone else. i do agree that reno should have been praised more tho haha
