The Yellowjacket’s need some sort of meat to feed to the brood, or else both the adult yellowjackets and brood will die. (The brood eats meat, and gives the yellowjackets a sugar water substance in return) Like so he can see this!!
Yes this is very important
Like anything in particular
Or will they take McDonald's?
KSound Kaiju Yellowjackets will scavenge pretty much any type of meat, liquify it, and feed it to their larvae. Including the meat on a McDonald’s burger 😂
Also I would highly recommend attaching the nest to the ceiling rather then the wall, as the nest is meant for being horizontal
Yeah. Caterpillars and maggots would be a sufficient source
I love that he’s not constantly using the word BRO OR FIRE OR PERIODT!! Not acting like all these other guys on YT trying to be cool. You’re just being you’re self!! And that why people like you and you’re channel so popular.
Not just any wasps either, yellowjackets, the infamous “i don’t care if you aren’t a threat I’m stinging you because I can” wasps
You did something to piss them off. Wasps, even yellowjackets, don’t sting people for no reason.
Zeke von Genbu, Bringer of Chaos nah yellowjackets sting for no reason cus they’re dicks
They dont sting for no reason, they sting you to get you away from their nest.
Zeke von Genbu, Bringer of Chaos check out the yellowjacket apologist fellas, he’s defending natures asshole
@@wildfiresnap you can literally piss them off by just walking by them. My mom got stung by one literally sitting doing nothing, and she was sitting there for a while. She sat still as it approached so it had literally no reason to sting her.
I have tried relocating yellow jackets in large enclosures multiple times actually, and I noticed that when the nest is verticle instead of horizontal(cells facing down), they know and usually abandoned the nest. Also make sure the enclosure it kept dark until ur observing, cause to them seeing light from their nest means its dangerous for them.
They really like soft grubs, caterpillars, and and some meats to feed their larva. The ones i used to have really liked bologna. Protein, Carbohydrates, water, and building materials r all they should need.
But it can't be that dark either they don't exactly have the best vision
@@josue2662 they actually have amazing vision, where are you getting your information from?
@@saturn_jupiteruranus_neptu5827 I meant at night not day
@@josue2662 oh ok. Sorry was a miscommunication.
@@saturn_jupiteruranus_neptu5827 yeah I guess so
In the next episode of Just Joshing, Josh will be inviting a family of Honey Badgers and a few Wolverines to live in his house. STAY TUNED!
I give the wasps about 2 months before they take over the house and eat the dry wood.
Do a habitat tour so we can know what your doing to take care of them and so we can help you take care of them.
He wont
Now you know that those wasps are all dead.
@@purplepheasant4776 yep
Josh your pretty brave to be able to release an entire yellowjacket mind you hive inside your closet, I love this series!
Being brave has nothing to do with terrorizing wildlife. you are basically feeding into the content for vuse when this person has absolutely zero knowledge and zero training. You are supporting the wrong people. There are plenty of actual experts and enthusiasts that know exactly what they're doing with this type of content. Stop supporting idiots.
Chris Brooks chill out
No offense but anyone else inuding me would just kill the wasps, they’re still pretty alive and doing weill in his care and he’s doing nothing illegal. If he’s crazy enough to have them in his room that’s his choice
That reminds me, my sister has a wasp nest right outside of her room and we live in Europe so there are big metal blinds that protects the window from robbers and stuff, well anyways almost everyday we open and close the blinds and then the wasps rage
I'm astonished at how much courage you have,i can't even get close to a wasp!!!
Be careful that the wasps don't eventually chew through the wall. I suggest doing some research on wasp care too. Online forums such as Arachnoboards are a good place to start.
He knows what he's doing otherwise he wouldn't be doing it
@@josue2662 That's cute.
Those are paper wasps.
@@josue2662 Actually he doesn't know shit. He's unintelligent, impulsive and has low empathy. He regularly kidnaps baby animals and doesn't even look up the proper care. He must have caused multiple animal deaths by now.
thank you for leaving an actual responsible comment but instead of giving him advice you should probably be telling him to stop altogether. Finding something fun isn't an excuse to deal with animals. This guy has absolutely zero training or knowledge of any kind and does this purely for views. He's honestly lucky I don't know where he lives
His parents let him put dirt and grass on the floor....my parents woulda slapped me for even thinking this 😒
Bruh, I wasn't even allowed a dog as a child.
...Well...he has the intent of making content and possibly A bit of A living off of it as well, by documenting it all..so..🤷♂️
My mom would call me crazy and laugh lol
Why doesn’t he just get a green house or shed. Why in the house and a whole room with dirt in the floor...?
White people let their kids get away with anything nowadays. No manners at all. I say this as a white person. I'm embarrassed lol
I could just imagine someone breaking into this house trying to be very quiet and unknowingly open this closet door.
They're either going to bite through the drywall or all die by crashing into the fan that's spinning extremely fast.
My bet is on them going through the drywall, literal nightmare.
You seem like the kind of guy who would keep a xenomorph as a pet if given the opportunity.
it might be wise to do a bit of homework on the species, these are southern yellowjackets (Vespula squamosa) perennial colonies bearing multiple queens are notable in my opinion
Your videos always have such chaotic energy.
(Me whispering) Don't worry, he's...JUST JOSHING!!!
It might be a good idea to put a mesh or something over the fan to prevent the fan from killing them
It's official! This channel is part of my life now. Keep the wasp videos coming!
You've made so much progress it awesome watching this project grow to this point I really hope this is the one that makes it and the bird thing you did was really cool it's a shame that karen stopped you for nothing cant wait to see more cute animal videos and your wasp thriving and the cool wasp training videos
Yeah what a shame a guy with no degrees no experience no research and no actual Love of animals is being criticized and attacked. Man what a shame... Idiot. This guy uses animals to gain views because he is literally unimportant.
If anyone sees this... have a good day
I'm having a bad day because I wanted to do this and I couldn't keep my queens alive.
Thank you. You too.
You mean "Road to 10 subs With no videos"
Thank you, I hope you and anyone else who reads this has a good day too
I just wanted to say that this comment did make me smile and perk up a bit; which I really needed.
I'm not looking for sympathy, just to show how a small comment can actually help a total stranger. My mom had a small stroke 2 weeks ago and is expected to recover but it has been rough to suddenly take on everything at home so she can rest and not stress about cleaning the house and taking care of her numerous pets, let alone the shock and worrying from my previously healthy mom waking up without feeling on her left side and being hospitalized for a week. I never truly realized how much she does and I'm ashamed it took this happening for me to get my shit together and take care of the wonderful woman who raised me and my sister in spite of having a husband who refused to work or help at home.
I won't go into more, but I needed to say how much your gesture helps and I plan to do the same when I can.
Thank you and I really hope that you have a great day!
ok
Once there's more activity you should do a live stream for an hour of just the camera on the nest. Would love to watch them building and taking care of the brood etc.
Great Video Josh have you ever thought maybe wearing a bee suit when you are in the house so they won’t Sting you
I'm afraid hes putting these wasp through a lit of stress. Also, give them some meat.
This channel is like a twin brother of AntsCanada, but full of steroid and adrenaline
Nah he looks more like jacob Feder
And a bit less informed.
AntsCanada? You compare someone like him, who kills insect to one that protects and keep then save?
ya i guess he duz c:
usernames bacon wat
Yes finally, what we've been waiting for. Btw lovin' the vids m8, keep up the great work :)
Yeah great work of no research no actual facts no actual experience no degree in animal biology of any kind. this is just an idiot who can't even do 10 minutes of research online that does these silly things with animals for views it's cruel and stupid.
1:38
thermodynamics ... unless it vents the heat outside of the room, that cooler is actually heating the room
2:56 the queen yellow jacket: *falls cutely in pain*
"I do not trust this things okay...."
keeps them in the closet...
Amazing! You truly are brave.
I hope they warm up to you.
Is your song gonna be on Spotify?
Idk about wasps but if you could safely introduce a docile queen into your colony the bees produced would be calm, the queens control something about the bees personalites
Catch a bear
Andrew Camarata xD
What let’s just say a bear is even worse
How Is he going to catch a Big Bear
We've seen where that leads lol
NO! LOL
Josh, The good news is that queen bees can't sting but they can die very easily. It was cool to see the queen bee in this video though as usually the worker bees are protecting the queen bees and can't usually see them or get at them as the worker bees would attack long time before.
Good spot for a wasp nest😊
Part 4 please! I love to see your waspsss
Please, put some plants in there Josh. Awesome video, keep making them!
Lol 0:15
Yellowjacket: freedom
You: * gets a stick and throws back in *
Finally, some good 2am RUclips content! Thanks algorithm gods
Love your content keep up the good work! 👍🏼👍🏼
I do not like bugs but that is kind that you give them a good home. I am less scared of them because of you.😊
Love the videos man always have been a bee/wasp enthusiast keep it up
Your m6 favorite RUclipsr I never skip these videos 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
You don’t know how excited I get when I get notifications for your channel
Same
This mans literally keeping wasps as pets while I fucking yeeeet when i see one
Tried to move a European hornet nest. It was hanging on a plank, so I picked that plank without wearing a protective suit, I was like 1 metre far from the nest and tried to carry it to my hornet hive. The hornets looked at me but didn't attack, they just left the nest and looked for it at the place where it was before. When even the queen left I took a photo and gave the nest back to the hornets.
Not all hornets are dangerous and aggressive.
Hornets are docile as hell, they really don't deserve their rep.
You really love wasps especially yellowjackets. I like them too.
I think this is brave wilderness brother
My granddaughter and I are allergic to the stings. This is terrifying but interesting, lol.
You must be the craziest S. O. B. Alive 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the craziest channel I have ever found
Man I am soo glad you back
Legend has it the wasp now owns the house
i dont know why i love these but i do- thank u wasp man
“Hey Siri, play Flight of the Zinger”
Dude, you need to get in contact with some of the big ant keeper youtubers. You're doing something new and very cool, you definitely could use help. I know AntsCanada actually manufactures a lot of ant habitat equipment himself, he might be able to help you develop some specialized wasp-keeping equipment.
I love your videos I’ve been waiting for you to post
Yellow jackets are soo cute!!!
omg you have a great personality. Subscribed!
When they are cold. They are less agressive
I’ve been waiting for a update on thisss yessss
I love this RUclips channel
He's so random and kinda bonkers, but I like that!! 😅
Anyone ever read the book bee man of orn....well Josh is the wasp man....they both lived in a room full of thousands of bees/wasps
Imagine if there was a machine to manipulate the minds of wasps
So that we can have a colony of 200+ wasps at out disposal 😂
Some times josh can be really dumb but i love his vids and i am shocked that he would love his fans enough to risk getting stung on the face! That is gnarly dude! like this comment if u love his vids!
So why don't you have an airlock on the door. That way you're not letting them escape.
It is a great Spot to put it
Love your Videos xx
I been watching Josh on and off for a few years. I feel he is trolling hard low key but we will never know. Can you imagine him inviting a girl over and him showing her his closet? A very Josh like thing he would do.
i like to imagine that his attitude towards wasps is God's attitude toward first world humans who are unsatisfied with their own lives and are their own worst enemies.
Just bought several containers of Sevin dust. I'd share one of two with you. Guaranteed to make wasps and hornets passive and your best friends.
Why do enjoy content that gives me anxiety? Subbed
Dude your content is awesome 👏 I hope you will be an entomologist one day! 👏❤️
I like the screams lol
I love your channel
If the wasp take over the world then this guy would be the only survivor
The song is amazing
Yes it is very good well done
Meanwhile I'm over here screaming over a spider.......
I like these videos 😂
Me 3 days ago: This guy is nuts. I'm not watching anymore of these videos
Today: I wonder what happened with those wasps.
Emotional support wasps
They need a food source. I would recommend any kind of fruit and some meat. Cooked or raw it doesn't matter.
I was waiting for this moment
The song is fire!
Might I suggest a few things they need a cellulose source a water source and bugs to feed the young so they have a food source for the workers
Call the Queen, Queen Jacket because she is a yellow Jacket or Queen Eightball
After watching wasp nest removals it’s a trip seeing someone trying to form a nest in their home lol also what happened to the other queen that you found?
Great video
Wasp: YAY I escaped Josh: YEEEEEET
I have always wanted to do this that is awesome. I'm wasp nest hunter by the way I'm just using a different account. This species of yellowjacket is vespula squamosa (southern yellowjacket).
Just wondering but don’t they need dirt to expand the nest? Idk if they like get a piece of dirt and spit on it to make mud and attach it to the nest
I think those are paper wasp, but same idea. Plus they need neat to feed to the larvae.
4:47 look at that heart
Anyone else think of Close Encounters of the Third Kind when you saw all the dirt in the room?
He should build the Devil's Tower replica! LOL
Wasps: everyone! Stay in line! Watch for the enemy! Protect the queen!
Random guy in tank: *creepy smile* GrEeTiNgS CoMrAdS!
These are more agressive then those paper wasp
The queen seems more tame
You make them cute? My brain hurt.
Hello just joshing I love your music video
Very cool thumbnail💪🏼
