3 years later... he's back!
WTF this is the weirdest shit ever. Just thought.....How cool will would it be if there was a channel that combined my two favoured things, guns and and pens. Then randomly looking for a pen review on the namiki. Found one....5 000 000 views....strange look at channel uploads....see pens and then guns. It's by far the weirdest moment. Greetings from South Africa
steffen Weyers Hello! Glad you like it!

It is funny how this person uses the same few words for his pen showcase videos. I am not complaining.
+George Hamilton They are related to the philosophy of Objectivism.
Mbeluba Interesting.
Two years later but what is objectivism?
Immovable Movers,
Over about a year, I've become pretty good at Spencerian calligraphy. I use an oblique holder I had made by Brian Smith, and I love it. Now, I'm thinking of buying either a Justus 95 or Namiki Falcon with Mottishaw's Spencerian grind. I know these won't be able to replicate much an oblique holder can, but which do you think would be better? I also plan to use the pen for everyday handwriting as well. I have vintage wet noodles, and a regular namiki falcon... but I really want something like this. I know I've asked you a lot of questions on here before, and your answers have always been superb. I thank you for your quick and thoughtful responses.
I still prefer the Namiki Falcon with John's spencerian grind. It is light, nimble and expressive.
But full disclosure, for everyday writing I use a Lamy Safari with fine nib! You have to balance convenience with expression. When I sit down to write or draw something beautiful, I will pull out the Falcon, but checks and grocery lists get the Safari.
At the end of the day writing is about making a unique expression. That can be in the color of the ink, the weight of the line, or the confidence of the stroke, but always remember: nobody knows what pen you used, only what your wrote.
Choose one, never look back. Cheers :)
Wow, thank you for that amazing response! I rotate between a parker 51 and a franklin christoph 1901 as my daily pen. I really enjoyed those last few lines. I think I will be ordering another falcon soon! :) Thank you once again.
Why does it sound like my head is about to explode?
I want this.
First view and comment!! Woot! Happy New Year! Keep making awesome vids. BTW, what mod did you get on the nib?
Spencerian by John Mottishaw at Nibs . com
Still hasn't uploaded..will come back next year!
Hello. Very nice video. I'm interested in calligraphy, could you tell me what handwriting style are you using? Thank you.
I wish my had writing is like this
Another amazing video Immovable Movers. Recently I've become very interested in the Justus 95, and as I adore flexible nibs I think it would be a very nice addition to my collection. However, I have heard some negative things about it and am wondering if the added flex by Mr. Mottishaw was worth it. Would you purchase this pen again if you had the chance? Thank you for any help, I really enjoy your videos and love fountain pens as well.
I prefer the Namiki Falcon because it has more flex. If you have it, this pen is not needed. The adjustable of the Justus is nice for using a wider range of inks, and for everyday writing when you make it stiffer.
***** Thank you, I actually do have the Namiki Falcon so I think i'll pass on the Justus for now.
Having purchased and restored about five Wahl Eversharp Dorics with various size adjustable nibs, I was disappointed beyond words when I bought my Justus. Granted, it was stock, but I hated it. It’s “variability” is a complete sham. It’s about as effective as Delta’s ridiculous Fusion nib.
where do you get such flexible nib to give this effect on the calligraphy?
amazing :O
So what is this channel. Are you in the national pen association or something?
Are there any channels similar to this guy?
Well, for the tingly and aesthetical feeling, check ASMR
For the understanding of his spirit, go to Yaron Brook, Objectivism or read The Fountainhead.
What is the background music?

I'm very happy to hear that :)
Just wanted to know, what paper are you using? Doesn't look or sound like the Bristol Board you usually use for these kinds of demos.
It's still bristol paper, I just muted the sounds a bit in the video
You write nice, girl. If you don't pop out a video in 4 days I will unsubscribe.
Drummergeorge he has 31.000 subs ,you think you make a difference

Why did you remove the video about the Sailor King of pen?
Are u still alive?
Yes :)
TheImmovableMovers glad to know that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Make more videos please.
2018?
Are you going to be making any more videos for 2014?
I'm afraid not.
***** awww :( well i guess ill enjoy your other videos for now
*****
Why not? You have great content.
which pen you recommend for a writer
interesting content
Just because there was a pen, doesn't mean the category should be education...
Does this handwriting style has a name anyone ?
What kind of ink did you use here?
Come back please
In due course.
TheImmovableMovers We miss u...
TheImmovableMovers Your videos are wonderfully relaxing. And your usual choice of Objectivist vocabulary as means to showcase pens and inks adds a kind of firm, ponderous element which is also interesting.
I have to say that the basic function as a fountain pen which this pen originally bore has been damaged by the modification as well as the writer's other Japanese fountain pens. It seems that those pens are all so scratchy to write with frustration. This kind of modification will just shorten the longevity of the nibs and really is not good for the pens.
I have been using this pen for years and it still works as well as the first day I received it. It sounds scratchy because the camera is two inches from the nib. I'm also using a very thin nib on hard bristol paper. Thank you for your concern, but the pen is fine! ^_^
This pen just appeared in the market in 2013 as the 95-year anniversary of the company. Exactly speaking, the Pilot pens have an original iridium point which is the hardest in the world and when tuned in an appropriate way, it is very smooth without any scratches and any noisy sounds. If you really want a flexible nib from Japanese pens, you should search for the Pilot's 70-year anniversary model, which is very famous for the most flexible Pilot's nib without any extra modification.

TheImmovableMovers I loooove yooooou!I think you are so cooooooool!!!
I thought he's gone too. good thing he had a latest reply.
2018???
Hello
Slow down the vídeo and listen to the audio, i feel there's something wrong w it
Mua but nay o dau
Please return.
Hey can you tell me your favorite books?
eric123900 Atlas Shrugged.
***** you don't have any other? I already have that book
+eric123900 I would suggest many more, but I will stick to objectivist literature., because I guess TheImmovableMovers would suggest them himself.
Fountainhead and Anthem by Ayn Rand are the best novels from her.
For pure philosophy best are "Philosophy - who needs it?" "Objectivism - the philosophy of Ayn Rand" by Leonard Peikoff and "Virtue of selfishness" in this order.
Cheers!
eres la polla tio sigue asi muy bien nuebo sub y mi like bro
plz, get back
You should really make more videos without music. The sound that the pen makes on the paper, uncapping it too, gives people asmr (especially when mixed with your beautiful handwriting) The music is too distracting for me at least.
Please senpai answer are plea please upload
Dearest ImmovableMover,
How did you move from pistols to pens? Did you enjoy the hobby of calligraphy or were you searching for attenuation of mind?
Yours Truly,
A Curious Theorist
I enjoy the discipline that they require.
TheImmovableMovers is that same pleasure reachable with usual ballpoint or gel pens?
Za kolko gi davah
Lol I bet it's gonna suck for left handed people (me)
Actually, flexing pens left handed is good (provided you write underhand) since the tines will be parallel to the downstrokes (for copperplate or spencerian scripts). Most right handed people have to use oblique nib holder to achieve those styles or bend their hand in a way that isn't normal to them [:
lefties ftw!
r u how to basic?
I love this video. But i could be better without this weird background music in my opinoin.
What ARE you .. !??
You die?
Gay
I got chills when he wrote "I swear by my life and my love of it..." A wonderful little surprise love letter to an old Atlas Shrugged lover like myself. Thank you.
amazing :O
COME BACK!!!
