Powell had time to come up with a lie about an intruder. I don’t understand why she took her mom’s life. I don’t think it was insanity. I remember when the verdict came down and Chanley was in the courtroom. She said the jurors didn’t even look at the defendant. She said all 12 positioned themselves & looked directly at the judge. They were not moved by her tears & they didn’t believe her story of insanity. I believe the jury got it right as well.

I dont even need to watch/listen, and i can tell you absolutely not... she does *not* deserve a new trial. Sydney needs to suck it up and finally realize that she doesnt always get her way, and the justice system isnt going to spoil her or baby her like her mom, dad, and grandparents have for her entire existence. Shes guilty. She knew what she did. She wasnt insane or out of her mind in any way, shape, or form. Let her do her time. I mean, dang, she will still be able to have a family and a life by the time she gets out. Her mom wasnt allowed to live the rest of her life. I still cant believe the judge allowed her to leave the courtroom during certain parts of the trial... like autopsy etc. Who else gets to do that?! She should've been made to sit and look at what she did, the same way every other murderer has to, and the same way the jury and rest of court had to witness and suffer thru *because* of her. Ew, Sydney infuriates me.

People experiencing psychosis do not tell story that clearly immediately after finding their mother not alive in a bloody mess in the kitchen. Either people are in such shock they can barely talk - - or if psychotic they will talk nonsense. The fact that she came up with the cover story so quickly is chilling - - so upsetting. That in itself for me goes to intent before this happened - - or spooky quick thinking manipulation. She is doomed on a spiritual level for taking the life of her loving provider mother. She is where she belongs in prison. The Husband / Father of this young Woman is Also A Terrible Victim That I Cannot Even Comprehend How He Goes On In This Life.

She must have known that eventually the college would inform her parents . Doesn't make sense to me.

If the prosecution's analysis expert is going to respond with "absolutely" and continue on fronting the confidence that she did, then I'd hope that this expert could set themselves apart eoungh... to give answers of which go beyond what any detective testifying for the prosecution would say. Amd maybe Sylvia did in some way or another outside of the clip shown above for all I know. However, it did seem unprofessional of her to give the benefit of the doubt (based on her choice of words) to the concept that Sydney WOULD have fled the scene if it was convenient enough for her to do so. It would've been better for Sylvia to say such as "Sydney PERHAPS could've fled the scene..."

The public needs to be protected from this monster. She can't play the little girl card her whole life. It was a diabolical and gruesome murder.

Usually when in a state of psychosis, your subconscious mind takes over and you would be incapable of lying (unless you’re inherently a pathological liar). She would have unconsciously admitted the truth, instead she tried to cover it up. That’s not psychosis that is EGO, which is our conscious mind. If there was psychosis, it came AFTER the fact… probably due to extreme shock and guilt of what she had just done.

I was assaulted injuired and hospitalized by child beating cop Evan Gorman of the the Rama police. What he did to that child he did me. He’s giving a whole bunch phony charges to Justice his actions. I was also wrongfully and unlawfully dragged through family court. I can prove Justice Martha Ann Tweeide broke the law. I have posted two videos about it on my RUclips channel.
Would love to share and go public about my experience of Injustice.

Her dad i pray for everyday, family on family crime is the worst the love for his daughter doesnt just go away because shes his wifes m*rderer , that is an incredibly difficult situation to come to terms with. I believe she has a mental disorder. I also believe she knew what she was doing. i think she regrets it of course, she doesn’t want to acknowledge her actions as her own , which she is gonna need to do if she wants that parole in 15 years

The thing about that is that you are still responsible for any murders that you commit during a mental breakdown because of stress. Crazy, I know.

I don’t know what type of prison she is in but In her most recent mugshot she had freshly dyed hair and new glasses. She had the biggest smile ever. She should absolutely not be released.
