A 3/4 Socket will fit snug on a 19 mm bolt. 3/4 might be equivalent to a 19 mm but 19 mm is a tad bit bigger every shade tree mechanic ought to know that

What do you think about the conversion from shock absorbers to hydraulic ones? The compressor has given me problems and I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference.

I was thinking about that at the time but learned that our compressor was still good so I just did a simple plug and play. I honestly can't remember what all I learn about conversions back then.

I’ve replaced my rear shocks and the ride has gotten a little better but it’s still stiff is yours like that?

You know the funny thing is that I havent had time to really pay it any attention because it turns out it needs front brakes and rotors. Once I get that squared away I'll really be able to see whats what.

@MegeJ Strut master and shock warehouse both sell a conversion kit that comes with regular shocks and new spring. The air shock for the Armada/ Qx56 don’t last long even for the newer model Qx56/Qx80. The kit puts the rear at factory ride height and gives it a better ride. Also make sure to replace your sway bar bushings

Not a good solution. I contacted Strut Masters and they said that with the lift kit, it doesn't help, if anything it makes it worse, if you are putting any load on the hitch (it's fine if you are not towing). We tow a 30ft trailer and the previous owner took out the air shocks and replaced them with standard shocks. Huge mistake. The coils are weak (deliberately) as they work with the air system. When we tow the sag is horrific. I am now having to retrofit my 11 Armada and test the compressor, the suspension control unit, the relay behing the battery, etc etc, and even when I get my new air shocks (I'm going with the Arnott ones) I still need to a) put it on a lift and b) recalibrate the air system using Nissan Consult III. If you are towing anything remotely heavy DO NOT move away from the air system. People talk about stiffer coils and a 2" lift at the back (coil spacer) but if you do this you are going to have to lift the front as well, otherwise when you are not towing the rear is riding way too high compared to the front, which could be catastrophic if you are suddenly in a collision avoidance situation. But if you're not towing yeah sure do whatever you want. Towing - air air and air.
