I used 5mm cotton cord and added 10cm to the recommended lengths and was short on the 200cm pieces. I suggest making those 300cm instead. Anyway after 3 hours work mine turned out looking like a birthday rocket gnome hat cathedral.

Love the pattern but the lengths are far too short for cotton rope. I had to add length to 6 strands by the time I got to the last berry knot. Lengths may be perfect for braided rope, though!
Measurements work out great with braided rope! Still figuring out which strands to add length to for using 3 ply rope like in the picture of the 2 trees.
