Seeing recommended EQ settings coming out of the Lab was something I was really hoping for when the initiative got started, so I’m glad it’s actually happening.
@@tiago98bastos If they give the option to change EQ settings it would be silly to not let the person you're paying recommend settings they say are good.
I didn't expect to like these audio focused videos this much. Adam has found a great balance between audiophile and objectivist. Man also has based music tastes.
I really don't like how these companies keep asking for so much money for the "flagship" products and they don't even try to make them appealing. 360$ for some "flagship" earphones without LDAC or LHDC is a joke.
@@hydzior Well yeah but at least it's supposed to be the best right now so why use something "worse" when the product is so damn expensive? They keep selling less for more...
A pouch is an awesome addition. Less scratching of the case when its in the pocket with your keys, zero chance of the case opening in your pocket and you don't get pocket grime on or in the case at all. I still use the pouch from my first set of crappy in-ear for my Sony Linkbuds. I'm guessing with the metal outer shell on these FoKus the pouch is included specifically because it's probably going to scratch up really quickly in a pocket.
Incredible review. Loved the recommended EQ and all the little details. I'd be curious to know how different wireless earbuds last over the years, regarding battery life, sound quality and software compatibility.
There is an audible hum throughout this entire video. It's not horrible and the video itself was good, but if I am able to hear the hum throughout the entire video, it should have been caught by the team at LMG. It seems to be an issue with the new setup as the hum is present in the Sonos Era video as well.
@@reekeen8257 technically it should be the case but me listening new IEMs while really good in low bass doesn't have the impact or speed of my Shure SE215 to drums, snare drums. i'm not sure why, maybe I just have to EQ down the sub bass of the new IEMs.
Great vid. No multipoint and no ANC means I'm probably stuck waiting for v2.0, which sucks. Still haven't found a set of buds that don't have a giant list of caveats bugging the hell out of me.
Ok. So I’m coming from having owned TW3s and Sony WF-1000XM3s. I also had some TW2s back in the day. They all failed in one way or another after about a year of use. Although these don’t have ANC….. the fit is so good, it’s just not needed. Each to their own though and I guess it all depends on your ear shape. These headphones have been by far the best fitting I have owned.
Dude I am so happy that you're doing audio reviews on this channel cause your music taste is like spot on with mine lmao. 100 gecs Death Grips and jpg Mafia like seriously some top tier taste here
Wow that is terribly disappointing that they decided to go with the qcc3040 chipset at that cost. I really think they could have gone with a qcc5141 or better. Now the chipset isn't everything, but at that price I expect a higher end chipset.
Multipoint connection feedback should be solid and tested in my opinion. What's the point of "I don't think..." In my opinion a very important feature at work

@@spaceriot23 Deadass I watched the whole video, then went to watch other reviews before buying, came back to this one because I couldn't remember a mic test, didn't see the mic test labeled in the chapters (I wouldn't have expected a mic test to be in "Lab Data") so I thought they didn't do it. I did watch it, just bad memory. My mistake!
I need a point of reference for audio products as whilst I do like listening to music I don’t have high end gear to compare to other than my Melomania earphones and there £100
Can they please add an option for a neckband? I understand its not for everyone but as someone who loses those type of inears in an instance it would be a bargain. Especially at this price point. Just make it so that you don't need to have the band on it really isn't that hard.
I've noticed a lot of headphones aren't putting all the specs right on the box, forcing you to either look online or buy it to check out the booklet. It pisses me off
can you guys review V-moda next. I am not sure if they have good soud quality but I do know they are built great. My only headphones that havent broke in 5 years and still going strong.
have you guys considered looking at the klipsch t5 2 II's? ive bought a lot of sub $100 ear buds and got the sport editions on sale. they're one of the best ive had as an all rounder and would love see your review of it

Adam the size queen
absolutely love adam for shouting out the new jpegmafia danny brown album and 100 gecs thats huge
I was so surprised, never expected scaring the hoes being mentioned on LTT of all places 😂
Should've gone with the Bandcamp Album Cover
Nice to see companies bringing in powerful sorcerers to help with audio tuning

Can labs find a way to test latency on any wireless headphone?
No LDAC is a dealbreaker.
11:33 crazy bass. from 20hz to 200hz. I wonder whether it muffles the other frequencies and if the bass is fast enough for drums/beats.
It's should be plenty "fast". IEMs typically have very low distortion, so rapid beats in succession should be no issue.
