I think because of Montrezl's NBA success, it makes him seem far better now than Chane, but back then people were hoping that Montrezl could do the things Chane was doing for that team. There's a lot of guys UL doesn't win that 2013 title without, Chane being one of them. Had a lot of distractions coming in and while he was at UL, Being from the area I always heard he ended up knocking up a couple 18 yr old seniors from Butler High school but that's all rumored
Sadly it was nobody on campus to tell alot em "No".."go work on your game"...the party always gonna be in play..enjoy that down the road..somebodys always watching

It amazes me how he can p=still play in the TBT tournament and look good when he hasn’t touched a ball in a couple of years and weighed 284 at one point. People forget that he started over Montrezl Harrell at one point.
He should have switched to FB like his HS rival George Fant did. He could have been a phenomenal TE. He was an undersized PF and never developed the skill set to make the NBA. He would have been similar to Allie-Cox, Graham, or Gates.
If he couldn’t leave the weed alone then maybe it’s a good idea he didn’t go to Colorado state... it was legal at the time there so he’d probably get even worse
