It was the calf kicks ilia landed. Max's footwork wasn't there anymore from rd 2 and 3 as max sat there in front of him. Watch rd 1 as it was competitive when max had his footwork and was moving around. Max didn't check 1 kick

Max has the best chin at in 2 divisions. I can’t believe he actually got KOd. Topuria was sharp. He slippped punches and kick perfectly. He has great eyes and timing.
