He's speaking to the streets specifically the youngins like king von see he wasnt talking about only himself when talking about death he was talking about what he seen and the future that we now have which is "drill" but at the same time letting us know that this environment will also be the cause of his own demise and as we can now see he was right
They banned this and most of this Album, if you noticed a lot of these song titles on this album, resemble the titles on Strictly for My Niggas. This was the first thing his Mother released after his death and she got the rights to his music
2pac had just got a new car around the time he recorded this track and this was the only song on cassette tape he had it played back to back all day and to be exact it was October 31st 93 if you know you know so stop letting them rewrite history this is the Thug Life Era he recorded this right after How Long Will They Mourn Me and the next track to be recorded was Under Pressure which is the final track to be recorded for the album after multiple tracks were denied by the label as to explicit.
This is supposedly one of the final songs Tupac recorded after getting out of prison and before he was shot and killed. You can really tell that he was going through it, and even though he paints an extremely vivid picture here in this song, it's difficult to comprehend just what was going through his mind at that time and what he was feeling emotionally. You can see that he keeps flipping between the idea of going to heaven after he dies and hell after he dies, so it gives me the idea that he was struggling hard with his morality during that isolation period, along with experiencing flashbacks to past violence you can really feel this man knew death was right around the corner.
