Does the drive shaft need to be balanced if the prop shaft coupling is replaced... for bmw e46 320i?

Fyi when he removes the second nut from the middle part of the drive shaft try n9t to hang it like that bc then theres play on that nut side eventually causing rattl8ng and missalinement .

And are there two types of driveshafts for this car..l8ke manual and automatic. From experience yes the manual n auto are two different lanths had both. Dont make that buying mistake.take pictures.
