No Greg, You're the man! I got super excited when I saw the video on my subscription feed this evening. Its been seven long years but I think you nailed the burger pretty good. Cheese curds are even harder to get here i Australia but some places like Bar Luca seem to get them in from Canada. You nailed the aioli too, as its not super maple flavoured. You did the patty flame grilled. Spot on. I think your also correct on using different beef for the patty as well. You even got the dried parsley in the poutine! Spot on. Its a great burger and for me, it was well worth the 7 year wait to see someone outisde of Australia do this burger. Its probably my fav burger here in Australia out of the many different ones you can get from the many different burger business's here. So well done. You smashed it out the park! Was great to see it!
Just looking at photos of this burger doesn't do it justice. Everything really comes together and creates a one-of-a-kind burger experience. Thanks again, brother! If I'm ever in Sydney, the beer and burgers are on me!
@Ballistic Burgers You need to come over! So many good burger places here. All the American ones like 5 Guys and Wallburgers have come in to late. But if you come over I'll take you up in that.
I was at a commercial grocery store last weekend in the LaSalle borough of Montreal and there were boxes 4.5kg bags of cheese curds in their walk in fridge section. I call it squeaky cheese. Eat some alone and you'll see what I mean. I haven't seen this burger in Montreal but now I'm going to look.
The ultimate stamp of approval. I second this opinion as a former neighbour from Ontario. ( Now in Baja Mexico. Miss cheese curds!) My fav burger from Canada was the Elvis. It was invented in London ON Canada and a best seller at this little diner frequented by students at UWO. We're talking 80s. Grilled burger, PB, bacon and topped with a SSU egg. Imagine that with cheese curds. 🔥🔥
Oh man, Greg... that is one messy looking, very involved burger that looks to be fabulous! Who'd have thought gravy and cheese curds and a glazed bacon atop of such a patty of ground short rib and chuck would be a great idea? Only a genius! I want one!
O wow! If this burger wasn't enough being a 10/10 for every ingredient and preparation, the Mess it makes is a definite 11... Thank you Canada. Thank you Soup Bones. Thank you Bar Luca. Thank you Greg 👍🤤😀.
dont thank canada, we dont put maple syrup on everything, and destroying the purity of poutine with sweet stuff is like crossing streams when your fighting ghosts. but i did love the video for the ent value
I appreciate your content Brother. I always finish watching your videos craving whatever it is that you made! It is very relaxing to see you do your thing also. Good Stuff.👌🏻👍🏼
@@hoopztube we have burgers with poutine here in Canada, but maple mayo and maple bacon. I’m not so sure about. Either way, it looks great and I’m going to make it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Thanks Greigg for making it so we can all see it’s deliciousness and expression on his face was priceless.
I do really appreciate everything you do on both of your channels! Everything you do is amazing. I do have a request? Can you please recreate Drakes’s BBQ Burger? This is a delicious burger that Drakes makes in multiple locations and has bacon, crispy onions, and Honey Jalapeño BBQ sauce.
I live in Canada not too far from a cheese producer. Their cheese is amazing. The curds are phenomenal and we put them on top of most anything. We've got a few burger joints that specialize in "artisan" items. Whisky marinades, sprouts, and of course, cheese curds and poutine. For us there nothing unusual about them so it better be amazing or nobody buys it. Great to see Canada getting some love from our brothers down under!
I'm a Canadian, and I must say you did us proud with that burger. Poutine, maple syrup, are among the great things we have. If you saw Dave Grohl, from the Foo Fighters, do one of the Superbowl commercials, he talks about the great things that were invented by Canadians. It's an epic looking burger. Cheers, Greg! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦 🍔
If you were doing a commercial for this type of burger to incite one to try it that hasn't, one would only have to watch you take a few bites of this mouthwatering creation with the poutine and cheese dripping on the remaining fries on the bottom of the plate, and then anticipate the same enjoyment as the one that we witnessed upon your face. The amount of jovial explosion on the taste buds that is carried through this recreation and the amount of effort you put in, is the reward to yourself once you have opportunity to enjoy it fresh and hot with the blend of the ingredients and cheese with the fries and gravy... absolutely tantalizing and another awesome job Greg and thank you once again for sharing.
That burger pattie cook was perfection. And it's also my observation (that nobody asked for) that your editing skills can't be improved upon. That gravy might have multiple uses, thanks for the video.
Absolutely delicious lookin burger, I'd eat that baby every day of the week. BUT! Did you know? It was a couple of Swiss chemists who actually invented American cheese. 1911, Walter Gerber & Fritz Stettler. Just a little FYI. Great video, Greg. Happy Memorial Day to you, sir.👍👍
What are you waiting for? They make some amazing different burgers... I'm going t have to buy something different now and send it to Greg to copy, in 7 years time! hahahahah
I know of a garlic burger that has absolutely stunning flavor. 80/20 patty on, cook first side then flip, immediately add two tablespoons (or how much ever you want) of garlic from the jar right on top, cook the second side of course then flip again to grill the garlic a bit. Add another amount of garlic from the jar to the opposing side so both sides have a good amount of garlic. They go well on onion buns. Basically you want to flip 3 times cooking the garlic on each side. Add cheese. Sauce it up. Its freaking awesome for the garlic lovers out there. Cheers Greg! The burger wasnt invented by them but is used at DiTrapanis in Rolla Missouri called the Feeling Bold burger
Blame Canada? Had to come from South Park! Looks super yummy. Fries and gravy are a great combo, although they quickly get soggy. Too bad you can't get the soft, fresh curds south of Canada.
That's a lot of work alright. Not sure I would make it but I certainly would try it. The fries look fantastic. Keep up the good work King of the Burger.
The first time I heard the term "American cheese" I was expecting some amazing cheese I'd never heard of before, so surprised to discover it was just processed cheese... Still good if melted on a burger👍
I’ve made 5 or 6 of Greg’s burgers and they were all fantastic. I gotta make this one. I googled it and the one pic I found shows it with Jalapeños. I think I gotta make one with and without. Would be awesome with some kick
There are several photos of this burger, and a few variations. Jalapeños was one of them... Some of the buns were seeded, some were not. The viewer that requested it told me that there are a few Bar Lucas now and some do it different.
Sup Greg, WOW, lot of work, looks worth it, but it's actually a meal, i could have open faced Xtra gravy, but everyone would love this, daughter been using the gas grill they thoughtfully left behind, together we are going to do it👊, never could've even imagined this bro, winner winner burger dinner lol, tyvm tc 🍔🥩
Looks like an amazing flavor and I love the channel but this is one I'd struggle to eat - other people can do whatever they want and I'm fine but if I'm doing the eating, I just can't handle it being on my hands or face. I can definitely see doing this at home and eating it with fork and plate though; the flavor profile looks incredible. It's all foods I'm familiar with (except maple mayo) but I'd never have thought of the combination.
Agreed, just tone down the mess. Less Gravy particularly. I personally just don't like really sloppy/wet/messy burgers. But that's just me, a lot of people dig them.
Ok, so let me get this straight. This is an Australian burger, with American cheese that was invented in Canada, packed with with other typically Canadian ingredients/inventions and which is now being popularized by an American master burger bbq dude 🤔 ...Ok. Thanks Australia and America, it definitely does look like something we as Canadians would eat. I think I may have to give this a try. 🤣 Only thing needed is a nice Canadian beer to wash it down and I insist you Ozzies and Americans do the same, and none of that low cal lite bs for this baby either. 🤣 Edit: P.S. Poutine is a sick invention. 🤤 So are burgers, obviously.🤤

This is definitely a burger you don't want to put down once you start eating. Looks fabulous👍😊
That is a piece of art, everything in it just works. Especially the seasoned fries, knocks it out of the South Park.
As a french canadian, I approve of this burger

I love this channel!
Should be called, "Thanks Canada!"
I’m fairly certain it’s a reference to the first South Park movie, that has a song in it called Blame Canada.
I’m Canadian now I don’t feel offended
The look on his face when the cheese was dripping! LOL!!!
Insane burger cook man!
