- Holy SHITE! I hit the mother load! This Toy Hunt was Absolutely INSANE!!
At the end of last week I decided to stop at Thrift Giant in Lewisville, TX and I came across a GIANT BOX of TOYS!
I could see through the box and noticed a Vintage MOTU Battle Cat and the leg of a He-man (Masters of The Universe) figure inside.
I quickly noticed a Thundercats figure as well!
...and that got me thinking, "How many other Vintage 80s Toys are in this box that I can't see?"
I purchased the box for $29.82 and quickly drove home to open it!
What happened next was nothing short of EPIC!
This box contained hundreds of dollars in vintage 80s toys!
Absolutely insane!
This is my most successful toy hunt ever!
The box contained several Masters of The Universe figures, Thundercats, Vintage TMNT like Needlenose, Beebop, Betelgeuse, Marshal Bravestarr, Speedracer cars, Vintage Star Wars, Vintage The Real Ghostbusters, Eureka's Castle hand puppets, Dick Tracy figures, Vintage Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord, and so much more!!
Again, this TOY HUNT was TRULY EPIC!

Yes!! His name is Snakebite and nearly 2 years later I finally tracked down his missing leg on eBay and bought it for $20!! (It just arrived last week)

So many vintage figures from he-man to ninja turtles and thunder cats! Great finds great video! Glad you found it! And you could probably get some money back into it once you clean them up! I'm sure at least one figure would be worth $30 or more.
This was the first time I found 80s toys like this in a thrift store. Even though many of them were incomplete or busted up, this was such a thrill for me. Beyond excited! JAZZED UP! 😂😂

I don’t doubt it. I don’t really collect girls toys, so I’m not as familiar with what’s valuable and what isn’t. Most of the stuff I buy is just for me. I keep way more than I sell. 😂

Hey Burf, there is some really good stuff in that bin. That MOTU Rock guy, TMNT monster and Bravestar are especially cool. I would say you got your monies worth and someone will be happy to find those ponies when you take them back. Yesterday I got a couple Gamecube games, also grabbed my nephew a Fast & Furious pullback Jetta.

Apart from the He Man with plastic rot, all of the MOTU figures are great finds and worth a lot of money, even with loose legs. If you intend to fix their legs before selling them, check out the RUclips channel Toy Polloi, as they have several videos showing how to replace the rubber ties that hold the legs in place.
Funny! I bought replacement bands to fix them last night on eBay. They are on their way!! I found a RUclips video showing how to do it but will check out Toy Polloi today and see how he does it! Thanks bud!!

Interestingly enough, there was going to be another wave of figures of that line after the blank released, but surprise surprise, they weren't selling well so those plans got scrapped. ☹️
Sucks too. I would've loved to have the rest of lips manlis' gang (little face and stooge). and maybe even chief Brandon 88 keys, and numbers (big boy's right hand).
Oh well. We'll just have to be content with what we got.
Brave star was one of my top 5 all time favorites as a kid!! I had most of the toy line. Thundercats was a very close 2nd. Awesome video bro, great haul!

I only collect and sell things I like though. If it isn’t something I like, I just donate it back if it’s good quality or throw it away if it’s just junk.

I will buy from anywhere myself! Yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores! I am not ashamed of it, and I am not a snob who has to have everything new and mint in a box. I display, the box to me is trash anyway! If a figure is in good shape and I can use it I will buy it. I have been collecting for 27 years and 6 days. LOL I have a pretty good collection, 10 different Earth's, over 1500 figures, I have seen much larger on You Tube. I can claim 73 different Avengers, 52 X-Men, 27 Justice League with 5 Reserve, and even a 26 member Justice Society. 😀 I will even fudge non Marvel or DC figures as Army Builders. That's a term for using figures as other than intended. For example Wrestlers as minions for a villain, Aliens and Stormtroopers for Thanos Army, Beast Man figures being used for Darkseid as I only have 1 Parademon, 6 Stealth suit Spider-Man (BAF version not the cheapie) used as Ninjas for League of Assassins. I was using them as lesser Hand, but they are putting out actual Hand Ninjas now and I desperately need some League. I can and will use anything I can get my hands on if I can use it. Wrestlers, robots, dinosaurs! I can use dinosaurs as Savage Land invasion led by Sauron and Stegron the Dinosaur Man!

We love FNAF too! We have every “action figure” the line has ever produced and countless blind box figures and plushies. They sell for crazy prices on eBay! But we keep them because we are collectors
