      Pet it like a Aquatic puppy. Geesh this is a everyday encounter somewhere in Florida. It is almost like someone seeing a dog or cat walking the streets in other places of the world. No biggie.

    I actually volunteered at the Gator Boys Ranch several years ago, it was absolutely incredible. Had to be really careful but was an amazing experience I’ll never forget. Being there gave me a new perspective on alligators

    All these videos where they're getting an alligator out of a pool point out one thing: if a gator can get into the pool, so could a small child...who could drown. All these motel owners and home owners should be fined for safety violations; there should be secure fences with self-closing gates around all pools.

    Great people taking care of the Aligator from the pool. Bringing them back. They are not bad. They just make you think leave them alone and don't go near any water.

    I find this specific one cute, almost like a tiny lizard. Usually I find them alarming but this one is different. I like its spunk too. (the tiny lizard comparison might be exaggerated but accurate to me.)

      Well...obviously. They don't call themselves the "Croc Boys" and they definitely don't call themselves "The Saltie Boys" (though that may be for other reasons, lol) They're not pretending to be something they're not. They're fantastic at what they do with alligators.

      Dude. Fuck off. Only because of temperament. Big gators get just as big and strong as most saltwater crocs. The crocs just have longer tails suited for coastal environment and the really heavy ones are fat old fuckers who are to lazy to even move.
      Gators have big wide jaws made for catching any prey, an opportunistic hunter. The bite force is similar among them. 3000 vs 3700 pounds. Buddy at Gator Land is way bigger than either of their saltwater crocs. But yes, the saltwater crocs are more likely to want to kill you.

    This is awesome.. Though I have a question..
    Whenever they touch the alligator underwater we hear this growling sound, and it almost sounds like the same sound over and over. Is that a real sound that he's making or is it edited in for suspense?

      i honestly think SOME of the gator hissing is added in to make it more exciting. Definitely not all are real.

      All underwater hisses were edited in. Maybe even all ones above water too. The gator mostly just wanted to get away, it wasn't defending established territory.

    Same reason why they add computer beeping noises in series, bomb timers, tickers, space explosion sounds... it aggravates me, as well, but I do understand the reason why; for the cinematic effect.

    There was probably a camera attached to a long pole, and the camera man was standing on the pool deck moving the pole around. I highly doubt he'd be swimming.
