Serious question, do Chabad learn gemara in depth when they are learning? I'm not in any way trying to be negative really curious because the emphasis from interaction at batei chabad is more חת״ת، תניא, ליקוטי שיחות, מאמרים, ורמב״ם, but haven't seen so often learning gemara....rambam, sichos, maamarim, chitas etc ,
@@DovidChaim-nc4pi You say obviously. However, and I say this with great and deep respect for the work batei chabad have done, but in travels at batei chabad and in depth interaction with chabadnikim and shluchim around the world, I have not, or only rarely, seen a chabasker sitting with a gemara, it's generally likutei sichot, likutei maamarim, tanya, etc, nor are those the classes given or the references ever given in shiurim or drashot but generally chabad only sources. This is totally not meant in a hostile but rather an inquisitve way, I'm not sure why you write "obviously" to what to external and sympathetic observers is not at all obvious
@@DovidChaim-nc4pi @DovidChaim-nc4pi Obviously in Chabadsker yeshivos, there is in fact an iyun seder and a bekius seder (or what they call girsa), and for sure there are chabadskers that learn shas dilligently. However, one has to recognize the fact that "regular" chabadskers not currently in yeshiva spent the majority of their learning time on likutei sichos, likutei maamarim, tanya, and it has been my observation that learning anything else and particularly gemara is rare. For most of the frum world, learning gemara is for everyone and is not limited to ones years in ueshiva
@ 2:05 r' eli posted clips of a hilchos shabbos shiur using a similar format as the mdy shiur - does anyone know where this shiur can be found?

Chabad House is not usually a yeshiva, what do you want?
