- This Lake Bulk Freighter Ship called the Ridgetown was loaded with stone and sunk as a breakwater at the entrance to Port Credit Harbour in Lake Ontario in 1974. It was built in 1905
Before being sunk here she was also used in Port Colborne Ontario as a temporary break wall during the construction of an Ontario Hydro Power Plant.
The video is shot using a DJI Phantom Drone. Hope you enjoy it and subscribe to see what other interesting places I fly around.
I use to jump off it as a teenager.. We use to own harbor port marine.. We owned boats docked in the C-dock wich is closest to the Ridgetown. If anyone can remember the Mark Twain Show boat restaurant..that wasnt yesturday lol
Jump off the ridgetown boat? How’d you get up to it?
We had a gaffe hook with one inch boat rope attached to it. Threw it on the ass end of it ..where the rocks are ...back then. .. 😉
John Grant might have to try that out!
