thanks for posting. i've just been looking at some Elk swings and found this. of course he has a reputation for a smooth swing but no matter how much i watch it i still cannot fathom just how wonderful his tempo is! his drive looks like a long chip shot or something. surely one of the best swings of any era, wow!
it looks like a long chip action because that's EXACTLY what it is!!! VERY HARD to replicate. distance is not an issue at this level. The only worry they have is,, is it going TOO FAR. mad I know. but TRUE.

That swing is as good as it gets. Weird thing is even Elkington can't swing like that today.

Wz Tr, does have a valid point. but Monty should have won this Tournament. & 8 other MAJORS. maybe the most consistent golfer EVER. post 1980.
