Just got one of these spreaders for $100 , it old and well worn with moss growing on it, I washed it off and used it yesterday to seed 5 acres and it worked great !
Lovely job I got a old one off a neighbor going to restore it ,it complements the tractor 👌😎

What size bolts were used to hold the hopper mounts to the hopper? Cheers
What did you use to repair cracks in the hopper?
Probably bond and seal made by wurth

Hi there I have one the very same one that im trying to restore but I cant get the pto shaft to seperate from the spreader. Did you have this issue?
Kyle Nugent Did you undo the 6 bolts on the rubber donut ?
@@mphelan1234 yes I can't get the yoke on the spreader to part with the yoke on the shaft
Undo the 6 bolts on the donut and you'll have to hit it out with a hammer, possibly adding some heat from a gas torch
@@kylenugent8446 pour a drop of deasil that will unsieze it and then get a hammer and tap it off

mphelan1234 did the red come from spares too? Also what was used to fill the cracks in the hopper? Thanks
Jacob Lester yes Vicon red from Sparex, Tec7 to fill the cracks as it goes hard but still has som flex
