I cut my waist-length beautiful honey brown curly layered hair when I went to Paris when my daughter was 9 months old and asked for a “ super short, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” hair cut that curled under the ears… I went to Tony & Guy Salon and got the hair, style, treatment and head massage I’ll never forget there… (thank you to whoever did my hair!!) LOVED the whole thing , and my hair was awesome! Cut it girl… it grows back if you don’t like it, but, oh yeah…. Love short… just love it! ❤❤❤
Just shows that a lot of hairdressers don't understand face shapes, colour theory etc. and just go by their own preferences/skills, but they'll still charge a fortune for their ignorance and unsuitable styles
I cut my hair 15 days ago in a pixie style thinking it would be easier to style and make me look younger. I regret making that choice 😩 It takes more effort than before and makes me look older😱
I will never go pixie or layered again. I grew up with short hair until I was 15 (Mom was the boss). I find a shoulder length straight cut works for me/with high lights. There are a lot of styles you can still do plus, on hot days, a pony tail always works. I am 69.
Yes, it's sad when women are tricked by "friends" or family to cut their long beautiful thick hair to "make a change" they say "Try it, it will grow out anyway". Especially on women where their hair was the only thing that stood out and was beautiful on them. I saw one some time ago with a lady who was on the larger size and her hair was so beautiful down to her butt and when they cut it, all you saw was her obesity and very round face, plus it aged her a lot. Before with the long hair, she looked cute and slimmer even though she was the same size. She must have hated the cut so much when she got home and realised what she'd done...

Ich würde so schöne lange Haare niemals für einen hässlichen Pixie schneiden lassen, bei ältetren Damen ok abrr für nen Pixie muss man echt der Typ sein sonst sieht man gleich aus wie eine Emanze 🤭
The cuts are really cute and some originally with long hair look so youthful. The short hair all styled and sprayed seems to age them. Not what you’d go to the mall or beach with. I want a cute cut that can be styled but also can be worn casual at home without fanfare.

A GOOD short hairstyle on mature women makes them look younger as it draws attention & other people's eyes UP. Long hair on most mature women drags their faces down & ages them. I love these transformations! The problem with most of these great videos is that no one near me (Plymouth, MA) could ever replicate the cuts. Very sad.....

Very very nice demonstration of how a good haircut can make a huge difference. I don't understand why women still cling to the long hair look. It can really be unflattering for a lot of women's faces (but no one will tell you that!). Plus long hair is so much harder to take care of. If you're getting pushback from your S.O. on keeping your hair long....well, it's your body and your face: do what's best for the way YOU want to look.

Most cuts look great on the sides and back, but then there is a massive thick angled blunt amount hanging in their eyes on one side! They will find it very annoying to have to keep pushing it back out of their eyes! I wasn’t sure where he was going with the first cut with really short bangs, but it turned out looking really great! 👏🏻. 🥰🇨🇦

Breaks my heart to watch all the long hair falling to the floor when it could be donated to any of the many organizations that make wigs for cancer patients and people with alopecia. I donated 2 times to Children With Hairloss. They're in Michigan. They accept as little as 8 inches, colored and gray. As long as it's banded and dry when you mail it to them.
I’m sure they are donating. I am a hairdresser and we donate as long as it’s 8 to 10 inches. If it’s natural hair or just single process color, yes they will accept it, but if it has been bleached, they will not accept it because it will not make it through the sanitation process that they do.also when we’re cutting hair off, we usually leave 2 inches longer than what we want so that by the time we go in and do the final haircut, we have room to work with
And when you see it not banded and they are just freehand cutting. It looks like there’s only about 4 to 6 inches falling off, which would not be long enough to donate.
At 76 I have a magnificent male hairdresser. I go every six weeks and leave it to him. This week he changed my style. He said it was more up to date. My hair is thick and still it's natural colour just a few grey hairs at each side.

Short hair like some of these styles takes work…must use products, must blow dry etc. short hair does not always equal easy.
