Thank you for your message, Pastor Shawn. You touched on the major false gospels. And thank you, thank you for your correct view of Colossians 2:14. I've been trying to get that very point across in my church--that in Col. 2, No part of God's Law is abolished, but rather the IOU signifying the debt of perfect righteousness that we all owe to God, and which Jesus paid at Calvary. Talk about good news!!

Hi Shawn, I’m part of the 12 step community for codependency and we also have the 12 step traditions. Traditions 6,7,8 sound kinda like what your talking about… interesting enough. I sooo cherish your RUclips!!! As I continue to listen I see so much of what your saying in the 12 steps and traditions. I also have a book written that I read “ 12 steps for Christians”. I’m so gonna research the history of the 12 steps now.

Just read Matt. 28 verses 19-20 this morning from the Great Commission: Go therefore ... teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." Not more. Not less.

Thanks Shawn, I am so thankful that you have evolved beyond the puppet stage to help us understand what is happening in today's thinking. Hard to believe that not believing in creation has brought us to. Happy Sabbath.

Too many people in the church concentrate on getting paid. Unfortunately, working in the church generates big salaries. I personally don't think getting paid to do God's work is a good idea:
    Matthew.6:
[24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

What you have to offer? I don't quite get that. Let's see what Jesus said they should have to offer:
    Matthew.28:
[18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Shouldn't churches have the gospel to offer. Salvation is currently open to all nations. How about churches "concentrate" on that?

Um, nah, I think what was happening was that certain Jews were attempting to draw young Christians away from worshipping God through Jesus Christ and tempting them to fallback and worship God through the law of Moses, again:
    Gal.3:
[1] O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
[2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[3] Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
[4] Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
[5] He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[6] Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
[7] Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
[8] And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
[9] So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
[10] For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[11] But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[12] And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
[13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
[14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
[15] Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
[16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
[17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
This is why the Apostle Paul said:
[6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you.
[2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
