1/4 of lgbo and Yoruba grammar, sentence, pronounciation , syntax, and semantics are ljaw. These 3 languages are in the roots, stem, and branches of one another . The trio is related to Hausa. Ijaw say , mu = go, while Yoruba say same as in Mu lo fun.., lbo say je . Housa say, mu je. Ibo say , je gba ogele. Izon say, mu ogele gba . The trio call box, Akpoti-, Ijaw ,Yoroba, Apoti, lbo' - Apkpati .
There is a common denominator in most of these cases of polygots you've brought to your show, most of them grew up in Kano/ Kaduna states and they were all children of commoners. That was why they were able to mix freely with other kids and even slept over at their friends' places at times. I also speak Hausa and Yoruba fluently and I understand passable Igbo. I grew up partly in Jo's.
I was in Nigeria during the Christmas period and came to the retreat ground at the DICC. I saw you around the kitchen area while I was driving to my accommodation at the Redeemed camp and called out your name, but you could respond. Great job, brother
Please bring other languages apart from Yoruba, igbo and hausa. We need to recognise other Nigeria languages and stop saying there are 3 major languages. Ijaws, Edo, Nupe, etc should be promoted too. Thank you for your great work
Always a delight to watch your programme. Keep up the good work.❤
Thank you
