rest of this post: She said it wasn't fair because I had that money because I refused ''to be normal'' and packed my lunch (something that apparently brings her shame???) I said I didn't care. My step-mom came and asked what happened, and when we explained, she offered Cora another 20 but Cora said that was she wanted to buy was 30 or 40?? and my step-mom only had that 20. Then she (my step-mom) asked me to do it and that she'd give me the money at home.
I don't know why, maybe because Cora called me weird a bunch of times, or because I'm FED UP with her always getting her way, and I said no. My step-mom reminded me she was going to pay me and I said no either way. She said ''I wasn't being fair'', we had an argument and midway I said this should be talked with my dad and that shut her down.
Now, Cora and her friend are messing with me because of that and I'm doubting if what i did was right.

the fact that the step sister gets more money because she wants to buy lunch is gross. that is a obviously unneeded. she could pack a lunch and save. she chooses to spend the moneybshe is given and op is punished for saving. even if op gave the cash and got it back would she get the extra 20 cora did
No you did the right thing. Talk to your dad and explain that they tride to bully you in to giving up your money and no Colra and her friends are picking on you at school too. Let your Mom know if he will not do nothing about it and have less visitation with him if this doesn't stop. If your dad doesn't stop it then get out of that school and have low contact with Dad! Corla needs to loar that she can't bully people to get her way and nether should her Mom.
OP is right, and you need to stand strong. Get all your parents together and tell them what is going on. Show them evidence. You will quickly find out who is in your corner.

My suggestion, which might be harsh, it to call your step-mom the B word next time your dad pays you. Chances are, your dad will demand the money back and ask why you did it, and explain "well, I thought she'd like it as she wanted me to lend money to Cora after she called me one repeatedly, and is now getting her friends to bully me.... so I thought I was being friendly."

You didn't do anything wrong. Cora can't always have her way and she's going to have to learn that. If she'd saved a little more of her allowance then she wouldn't have had to be asking for more.
Dearest step sister is terrible at managing money and in the real world, you can’t always get what you want. Nor can you always ask others for money. It’s a good lesson for both the step mom and her.

Tbh I don’t know, it all depends on how well you trust her to pay her back, my sister and I always lend each other money because we know we will pay each other back ASAP, but that isn’t the case in lots of families
I get it but it sounds like maybe needs to talk with Dad and stepmom and let them know why you took such a strong stance and also about the things step-sis does behind their backs. NTA just because you were able to save up money and had extra money does not mean sis is entitled to it!
