  • A magnificent show of the Kenyan-British artist with many pieces arranged in different rooms of Houghton Hall, and in the contemporary gallery annex.
The glass piece "Metamorphosis and Transformation," is an installation placed on its own without the historical context in the main Hall. It is an evocative tribute to ancient Egyptian artifacts and narratives of migration. It is based on the form of a 3500-year-old ear stud.
Conceived during Odundo's residency at the iconic Wedgwood factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the centerpiece on display in the Marble Parlour is a monumental ceramic sculpture, created using historic Wedgwood molds, which poignantly addresses themes of slavery and contemporary activism.
