Bar street is not what it was 9 years ago.. I don't think you will enjoy Bar Street now! If you do go please be careful as the bars are not full of "other business" if you know what I mean!
Thanks for posting a recent update on Bar street I'm planning a trip and alot of ppl have tried to discourage us from going to bar street being it has changed alot.
Sharon it's all changed now and nothing like the great fun Bar Street that is was before. Now most of the good bars have gone and the place has gone downhilll attracting the wrong crowd!
Nicola I don't remember his name and I have not seen him around for a long time. Sadly, Bar Street is not what it used to be. It was such a fun place to go for an amazing night out. However, Bar Street has now become like a "Red Light" area and not the place I would recommend to go for a fun night out! The Kalici area (Old Town) offers better and safer options in my opinion..
Great video, any idea how much a standard kebab would be on bar street in Turkish lira? I use to live in Turkey for many years and finally going back over 12 years later, I remember kebabs use to be 5 lira back then
It was 5 lira or even less about 12 years ago but now the cheapest chicken kebab is about 25 lira and lamb kebab is around 35 lira And every other thing is also mad expensive
Bar Street is near Mayflower Restaurant in the town centre past the Archway.. Sadly, Bar Street is not the fun, lively, and safe place it was in the past. My advice is to go to the bars in the Old Town (Kaleici) area.
I was in kusadasi 1996 87 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 used to come twice a year was thinking qnd coming back but i dont want to meet my ex as he lives in kusadasi
Nicola.. I think you saw the best of Kusadasi! If you do come now some things will disappoint you as Kusadasi has changed so much you will not recognise it! Keep the good memories of Kusadasi.. 🙏😊

Go and see for yourself.. In my opinion Bar Street and is not what it used to be but still worth visiting!
I went in 1999, it looks so different but still the same ..danced on kitty o'sheas window ledge every night, to be that young again ❤

Derek, unfortunately, Bar Street is not what it used to be years ago. In my opinion, sadly, it has gone downhill and lost the vibe!
