Damn good!! Motorola is literally over-delivering!!! Some features here, we don't even demand on the so-called flagship killers of other brands.
Like IP68 (when IP54/IP64 is ok)
Like 1.5k 144hz Pantone display (when FHD+ 120hz is good enough)
Like USB 3.1 (when 2.0 is ok for the price)
Like 50W wireless charge and 10W reverse wireless (when 25W or no Wireless charge at all would have been ok with people)
Like metal body sides (when plastic would have been ok)
15bands of 5G (when 11 would hv good enough)
Like 50 MP Auto focus front cam (when 16MP fixed focus is ok)
Like 3 mics (when 2 is enough)
They are not leaving anything behind for us to complain... the pro grade cameras, 3 yrs android update, NFC... And their attention to plastic less packaging even adding fragrance to it.
Only thing left for us to nitpick is the 2.2 UFS instead of 3.1 🤷🏻♂️
Well said . And it should have been better if they dropped the "pro" . Edge "30" pro outperforms this phone in terms of performance XD. This is clearly a well improved phone as a generational upgrade .
I do have a massive complaint. The processor is WORSE than the edge 30 pro, two generations ago.
@@LachskoenigIV it's more of a name/identity misleading issue because of the "Pro" part. I suppose Moto does not want us to compare it to their previous Edge "Pro" phone. Otherwise, the performance is decent for the price range as per today's standards.

Little concern is UFS 2.2 storage but telephoto lens with ois is much appreciated.

Don't worry about that, it was a dealbreaker even for me so I checked it's speed on different channels and on an offline store aswell, motosl's optimisation is very well, it performs better than 1+ and Iqoo's ufs3.1. it may change in the future with updates aswell.

I have had the edge 40 neo for a couple of months now. There are huge number of users who have problems receiving notifications on moto phones. The reddit sub and lenovo forums also have multiple posts around this. Please try to cover this in the full review
Go to Settings > Battery > Battery app use. Go to Apps tab. Select the app (ex. Whatsapp) and change from "smart use" to "always allow". FIXED.

Take ₹3,000 more and give UFS 3.1 ROM LPDDR 5X RAM.
They mainly did it to keep its price under 30k

@@PrimeTwisters but UFS3.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM is important. They give USB3.1 but the storage speed is slow. Iska matlab kya huwa....? 😶 UFS3.1 is 2X faster than UFS2.2...!

If you have 40MB per sec transfer speed, your 6GB per sec write speed ufs 4.0 Storage will still Transfer data at 40MB per second because USB 2.0
This USB 3.1 peaks at 1.2GB per second, and about as much are the capabilities of ufs 2.2.
And for what else do you even need high storage speed.
ufs 2.2 is good for up to 10 Gbit
Why not get the Nothing Phone 2 at 37k? 12/256gb without any discount...

One of the best midrange smartphones, ufs 2.2 is not a deal breaker and will make the cut for most people.
they could have easily gave ufs 3.1 by reducing 125w to 67w charging support and maybe even would have been able to give lpddr5 ram with it
but I have to say they really dropped a bomb

(slower sequence read and write than 3.1, but way faster random access than 3.1 by benchmarks).
Compare it with OnePlus Nord CE 4 as it is low priced but comes with the same processor(Snapdragon 7 Gen 3) as Motorola😁
Nahh bro I won't recommend you OnePlus. My sister is using Nord CE 3 and I Nord 3 and both are pathetic CE 3 lags even in the basic usage and mine, well it's a fabulous phone until it comes to the battery. I have to charge it twice a day still it doesn't last. 3-4hrs of screen on time that too on very light usage. So my call for OnePlus would be NO

Even I was thinking how could a phone like this can hang but when I saw it from my own eyes I was shocked. She still curses me recommending this phone to her. Even I also regret spending my money on my Nord 3. Battery life is just as good as dead. OnePlus in Carl Pei's Era was a killer beast but now it's shit.
@@anmolhp6930my Nord ce 3 flies through everything and even offers great casual gaming experience and pretty good cameras with stable software, don't know what's wrong with your device and btw if not one plus then certainly moto isn't the way to go then better grab a nothing because it's way better than these craps moto is selling.

Motorola is steadily improving very much. Only things i would personally point out as a user of a Motorola phone is the use of UFS 2.1 and very late software updates.

That double tap feature is there in iPhone from 2019 but you can't open downloaded apps but you can open system apps And you can set another command on triple tap also

I have moto edge 40 and the battery gives me a solid 5½ hrs of SOT with heavy usage including all day data, location, Bluetooth and max brightness.
Indoors with wifi, I get 7½-8 hrs of SOT
4:18 I'm interested to know how you got high + 120fps since the game doesn't even allow for that combination even on the 8 gen 3. It quite literally shows that you don't have that option available even on the low setting

I use a Motorola Edge 40 neo and my experience with it has not been great. Numerous issues but the most frustrating is the WhatsApp notification issue. WhatsApp calls don't come through, only the missed call notification shows up after. Extremely disappointed 😢😢
Please make a extreme battery drain plus performance test of the phone where you play bgmi and compare with other phones like Nord ce4 5g

File sharing with USB (windows)is not working in Moto edge 50 pro. In windows it's showing "driver not available". Moto's built in app 'Ready For' supports file sharing but it's via wifi so the speed is very poor compared to USB 3. Please make a video on this issue. Also the ready for app is full of bugs and crashes most of the time.
Old snapdragon or Dimensity if and only if Motorola chose a processor which delivered over 1 million score in Antutu then this phone would been a true mass phone to handle 3 years OS updates
