    Hi, thank you for your wonderful videos, I've learned so much! Does your reading intervention bundle have material to use for remote teaching?

    • @learningattheprimarypond
      @learningattheprimarypond  5 месяцев назад +1

      The bundle isn't specifically for remote learning but could definitely be adapted for that purpose if the child had the materials in front of them too!

    What if the child memorized the decodable text before learning to “read” it? Should we leave the text or stick with it for fluency? Other suggestions?

      Great question! I'd move on to another one. You can definitely always pull out past texts to practice fluency, though!

    Good morning Allison I am a reading intervention teacher at my school. I encounter a lot of students who have difficulty with decoding CVC words. I use word families a lot to help them. Question: Can you use word families in successive blending

    Have you encountered students that decode slower than other students? What have you done, if anything, when this has happened? Let me know in the comments!

      Yes I have a few students in kind that I am currently working with. Can’t wait to try some of your suggestions. I have tried continuously blending but they still revert back to sound by sound. :(

    Well , I have such a students for the question A , let me elaborate; they were good at the first semester , they are in comprehension, but when it comes to decoding , they depend on guessing more than decoding....
    Can you suggest any thing for this type of learners ???

    for a seven year old what would be slow?

    • @learningattheprimarypond
      @learningattheprimarypond  Год назад +3

      At 7 years old, that's absolutely developmentally appropriate that their decoding might be slower. Try these tips to see if it speeds up at all!
