I wouldn't mind them giving this design a generations release. It hits the emperor vibes that the remold of ROTF Bludgeon had, but without the skeletal stuff.
A huge step up from the previous Authentic alpha Megatron. I collected Megatron, Soundwave, Grimlock, and Wheeljack from the old Authentic alpha line. This new Megatron seemed went out of the “evergreen” design which was governing the old line. I am pleased to see that the figure still has elbow and knee articulation, even though the elbow joints are pinned hinges.
I wish they would... but when I saw the wave of figures this guy came with in the new packaging, they just put the old Authentics Alpha Optimus in the new box.... sad....
I bought my lil brother who loves transformers but has issues transforming complicated figures the old authentics Megatron and looking at this is a major step up yet still seem easy enough for him
For an authentics figure it looks very good, so I would probably get this one, since I still don't have a Megatron in my collection, and I think I can start with this one
I am praying this means we get a new Optimus. The Authentics Megatron for a $10, voyager sized figure was kinda good IMO, this is better though. But the Authentics Prime SUCKED, it looks horrible and a G1 Optimus style design shouldn't be hard to do by this point so if we get another Optimus I'll be very happy.
yeah, but sadly, the old optimus got repacked together with this figure in the 2024 wave of new authentics... 😢 yeah I agree... I didn't like that he had a removable cab
Not gonna lie this is a better base design for me than the Siege mold. Yeah it's clearly a downgrade due to all the hollowness etc, but if they went this direction with him and made him more what they're doing with Legacy, I honestly think I would like this a lot better than any Megatron we've gotten in recent history.
yes perhaps... yeah, I wouldn't mind having something similar to this in the Legacy line... maybe more substance and more engineering so we can have a fan made gun mode as well...
Transformation is mostly the cyberverse deluxe/spark armour Megatron’s engineering. I guess it was either compromised articulations or wheels, so, no wheels
This video randomly showed up on my feed today and I’m pretty happy for that. Seeing this figure is like candy to the eye. It looks like a fun figure with a lot of detail!
I just bought one and it's my first transformers toys since I'm not a fan of the franchise, I just got interested with the affordable price😅. But after looking at some review of other characters from the same line I think I definitely (accidentally) picked the best one

honestly though the bravo figures are garbage I really hope hasbro ups their game with the alpha class. The previous one were quite good and this megatron is exepcionnally great. Here is me hoping they do a shockwave as well

yes perhaps... yeah, the engineering of the turrent doesn't allow for rotation since it's part of the legs... also the cannon tabs onto those leg panel making it difficult to give him a gun mode...
I still think they overly complicate the design for Megatron... Why can't they do a rotating turret backpack, which could tilt/rotate... The arms and legs becoming the threads... It's not that hard ffs...
