This will come in handy when playing Irish/Scottish jigs. I’ve been working on cleaning up my pedal point transitions and this will help greatly! Thank you
Great tune one of the first fast fiddle tunes I almost can conquer! Now to attack it on the harmonica! Maybe put it in a rack and play fiddle and harmonica ? NOT! Hope you are getting better each day.
Excellent Richard, I always enjoy your unique approach to teaching You seem to understand how to reach into the inner workings of what it takes to connect.
That was really nice! I'm a pucker player and don't tongue block anything but a few octaves and splits and not many of those. But I think I could do this with some work. Thanks for the video!
Hi Richard. Thanks for that exercise. Can you tab it out please it will be very helpful a very nice exercise for practice Warmest Regards. Norm Western Australia
Hi Richard. You said you could tab out the tune. That would be a very nice exercise plus learning the tune would make it more enjoyable. So Thanks if you could do that. Regards Norm
@@normanmundy2565 I know this is a really late reply... email me - rrsleigh@gmail.com and remind me to do this.... I will get it up in the project space in my head
Very informative. I have a "wet mouth" and real problem with the tongue blocking I have tried. Pucker playing is manageable, but a bit limiting. Thoughts? I mean, besides eating Alum?
Very Interesting! - I use U-blocking, and tounge slapping
Wow NICE!!
THANK YOU
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Sorry to hear about your fall.
Yeah, you should tab out the entire song. I never heard of it before, but it sounds great.
I have been using blues-style tongue-blocking since the last millennium, but this tongue-switching technique opens a whole new world for me...thanks!
my pleasure!
I love to have the tab to Devil's Dream. The drill is terrific. Thanks.

Try tilting the back of the harp slightly upwards and keep your head upright.
Good video on a difficult harp technique. Did you produce it the day before your accident Richard?
