If only Pokémon would institute best of 3 ladder on switch because I greatly dislike being so disadvantaged by being a player who plays on the switch like what is intended. This although great for people already in vgc is unfortunately just another chasm new players coming only from the switch will have to overcome. Pokemon is one of the only games where playing the actual game is not sufficient and essentially requires a separate 3rd party program to properly practice for competitive. it may not seem like a big deal, but it's a much larger barrier to entry than I think the VGC community realizes.
