I was absolutely stunned that the waffle slicer actually worked. Looked like it had no chance when you took it out of the bag
Not sure how long it will last - will the blade dull quickly? It wouldn't be easy to sharpen so I hope it keeps. But at less than a pound I might even break it apart and refit a new blade...
Those spiral potatoes look fun!
They sure were!
Love it Spud! I was certain that the spiral cutter wasn't going to do the job when you "unbagged" it, but lo and behold it actually worked, much better than the other methods I've seen where you just put a skewer in the middle then use a knife to cut the spiral as you spin it, less risk of loosing a finger or two with yours!
Those waffle fries looked really good too, my Mandoline has got quite a few blades to it, so I'm definitely going to have a rummage to see if one of them makes waffles fries. Lots of surface area for extra crunch!
As always, love the videos, keep 'em coming!
Yeah the gimmick is the same as skewer + knife but this plastic one won't do you any mischief. As you can hear from my reaction, waffle fries (game chips if we're being posh) pleasantly surprised me! Thanks for the feedback!
It was fun to watch, I hope the potatoes tasted equally fancy as they looked 😆
Not sure they tasted 'fancy' - more street food than five star - but you gotta love a fun gadget!
Hahaha! I filmed a very similar video this weekend. Thankfully, I did quite different gadgets. 😂 Great job as always mate!
If the Internet proves anything, there's always room for more opinions. Look forward to your take!
That extender bar near the friers gives me anxiety, Spud 😂
Fair comment, I think the lens makes it look closer than it actually is. Safety first! 😂 ⚡
Absolutely brilliant, so entertaining 😂 Yes, I’m guilty of Temu & got an order coming soon. Actually bought non food related gadgets like light projectors but have bought some black gloves and bamboo airfryer trays. Wise to wash, probably been packed in a prison! 😳 Was really glad to see you get the protective guard. I actually nearly sliced my finger off on a new knife I was sent, that I was showing off on a video, I think I actually published it. Anyway thanks for making me think out of the spud & delete my Temu account! 🥔 😂 Finished product looked good, especially with Sriracha 🌶️ Really enjoying these reviews. HHH
Glad you enjoyed! Good for the occasional bargain.
My main use of temu has been to buy off brand Lego, has worked well so far. 😂
Might have done the same myself...
I use wooden spoons all the time. Some of them are from my Grandma. You need not worry about them not having a coating on them.
Good point, I hadn't even thought about the humble wooden spoon!
@@BigSpud I find a wooden spoon comforting.
@@stanleycostello9610 I know what you mean, especially if they are from family.
@@BigSpud The wooden spoons from my Grandma are at least 60 years old, if not more.
@@stanleycostello9610 I have a 50 year old chopping board and a 75 year old plate as hand me downs. They are special.
You need to replace your Chips fryer. it looks beyond terrible dirty. Tsk tsk.
I promise I give it a good clean each time I replace the oil!
Saying that you bought something at TEMU is basically you saying that you bought products made my slaves.
Hi, thanks for watching. Following your comment I have read up on some articles surrounding slavery allegations towards TEMU and there definitely a question mark over their operating model. Thanks for bringing this up.
