I have hunted years for this. When the cassette wore out I got the CD and they cut the last track so thanks for posting this ...
You got that right he baby
Seger belongs to us the greatest song written and rock-n-roller our generation will ever see again
All true but for one little thing. Let It Rock was written by Chuck Berry.
Segar was rockn back in the day no wonder thin lizzy liked them !!!
Seger. Big fan are you?

I WAS there !!! My first concert !!! The best encore ever !!! Do ya do ya like like to rock !!!
I was there, the night after. lol
Saw the tour as well in Toronto Canada....in my top 5 favourite concerts I've been blessed to see !!😁🙏🇨🇦👍👍
I feel sorry for anyone who has never experienced a Bob Seger concert!
I just have one thing to say to ya Boston, I was there at this concert... My heart is still beatin fast, (2024),from this encore !!!
It's not my generation but it's good. Pure rock'n roll as I like it. Real rock'n roll
So good ...the extended versions rule!! 🙏🇨🇦
RIP Nanci Hyder 1953-2005. My mom used to play this on record, an id never seen her so happy as when she jammed this very song. Not any other version, this is the version on the album. I'll nvr forget... I miss my Mom Shake baby shake
In my opinion, Bob Seger's most kick-ass encore...To all Seger fans out there, search out his encore from his album Live Bullet...Let It Rock/Little Queenie....Amazing!!
When you can incorporate a sax and organ into rock and roll you have something unique. Bob always gave cudos to the Silver bullet band and there shows always top notch.
you got that right!
I agree but why did he change 17 to 13...ew. love this nonetheless
I agree. One thing this didn't show is the 2ne sax solo, Alto is playing on top of the speakers..
That version is better than this one.
Not sure how many cassette tapes I wore out listening to 9 tonight, a lot!
Thank You SO MUCH for posting this! My Mom & I used to listen to this cassette every day back in the 80s! Back when true music artists existed.
This ain't just rock , this is rock on automatic fire , fully loaded !!!
Have seen Bob Seger 8 times in 8 different states. He’s a true Rock and Roll Legend! Love you Bob Seger!
Patty Caruso, Lake City, FL
Thanks, Bob Seger is a Rock and Roll Legend!!
Thanks! Bob Seger is a Rock and Roll Legend!!!
Boston Massachusetts live. 24 track. Spectacular. We thank you.
24 Track Mobile recording studio recorded the show and it was The Record Plant Mobile Truck hence the 24 tracks (tracks for the musicians which was quite a few, audience microphones and ambience microphones).
@@terrencereardon6374very cool Terrence PS I liked you on the RMCP
Never realized u guys had a falling out
Bummer 🤟🤟🤟🤟
@@zandig666It was a bad fallout with them and I am focused on my current venture
@@TJR-ClassicRockCorner0124 well I thought u complimented the show meanwhile I will check your solo stuff out !!🤟
@@zandig666I appreciate it. It’s TJR’s Classic Rock Corner Podcast
This is the way the song should always be played; uncut and unedited.
Absolutely Right !!!!
Ain't it the truth!
I was at this show🤠
The Greatest Band !! From my Home State 1:28 of Michigan !! 🔥❤️🔥
"Go on and let em rock
Go on and let em rock
Reach up at your soul
Give a bit of Boston
Massachusetts
Rock and Roll Soul
I love it, love it
Rock and Roll all night long."
What a way to finish it.
But sadly not on the CD
version, only on the vinyl
Live version.
LP, cassette and 8 Track Cartridge pressings.

@@deejohn1659I had to transfer from cassette to CD and had one pass to do it and I did.
@TJR-ClassicRockCorner0124 Fantastic. Then you got the real barnstorming Rock n'Roll ending. 😃😃😃😃
Saw this band twice both concerts were INCREDIBLE!!!!
Now Kiddos this is how you RNR !!! Pure and Real !!!!
OH YEAH!!!!!
Ok boomee
Bob Seger, magnífico. Um dos maiores de sempre com a excelente Silver Bullet Band.
No body does this number better than Bob!!
Such a shame that four and a half minutes had to be edited out of this song in order to fit the album on CD.
Nobody can touch Seger
NOBODY!!!!!
Or the Silver bullet band!
Fantastic! thank you so much. That Sax solo made the whole song.
Alto Reed was the Best RnR Sax player!
@@jerryparks6123 What was special was that Alto showed up in the audience in the upper sections to do his solo. Thats why Seger is pointing upwards but the cameras didnt' record Alto. A missed opportunity. That was a MSG, NY. But I'm sure he did that at other arenas.
@@FrankFurankisanBall He did in Boston and on this he overdubbed some notes like the high altissimos as you hear another high saxophone underneath.
@@terrencereardon6374 Cool. good to know that he did at other shows. But didn't know about that Sax overdub. Never notice that. Good catch. Thank you for that.
@@FrankFurankisanBall What worked at a concert would not work on an album so Alto redid the ending sax solos as on the multitrack he hit some bad notes but what else is here is what was recorded on the night.
No body can like seager
Wish we could see the entire Concert!
I did I was at this show
i agree
What a rock lp. Might be the best rock lp ever. Nine Tonight. ‘’’ come on Boston . We got a little work out,’’’
Come on.’” Every song on the LP is premeau
awesome🤡
Bobby and the bull it band were just on par with perfection on these tunes placed, if I recall correctly,,,, from two concerts onto this lp.
Hittin on all cylinders. Thank you for making this video. This brings back so many memories. Love it
Grande Bob seger desde,,,,,, chile,,,,,,, Miguel Zuñiga lnostroza
Great rock and roll - can't beat it!
This is how I knew Bob Seger was amazing as there was another band called the Who and what both amazing is they knew how to use harmonics. Just watch and listen!
That was a rip-roaring rendition of “Let It Rock,” and Chuck Berry would have approved! I wish I could have gone to a Bob Seger show. That would have been awesome!
I'm exhausted just listening to this version. i'm wondering if this is Drew Abbot on guitar...chuck berry on overdrive !!!
Honestly I don't hear much about him when people list all the great guitar players BUT he is near the top.....the band needs to get recognized for their talent as much as Bob.....I've been listening to them for 50 years ....
I never knew there was fotage of this. I grew up listening to this album. But i never knew there was a video to go along with it. Is this from vhs or dvd? I would love to get my hands on it for my dad.
Like watching a concert through a kaleidoscope smeared with vaseline. There must be a cleaner version.
9:31
Who can sing this without breath
ONLY the 1 and ONLY ROCKIN ROBERT SEGER COULD!
I thought I was losing my mind. I had this cassette and noticed this. I also noticed tryin to live my live without you had more talking in the start of the song. I remember seger sayin well boston we findly made it. Is that on your cassette as well?
Great but I like the version live at Cobo Hall Detroit better.
After I moved from Michigan to NC I had to special order the Detroit Live version because all they had down here was the Boston version and everyone knows the best audience is the Detroit one.
This song is also on the live bullet album
Yes, it is, but it isn't as long. I like both versions, but I think this one from "Nine Tonight" is better.
One on Bullet is better.
@@micahfitzpatrick967 Are you mad? Nine Tonight was SUPERIOR!
Just not the same without Charlie on drums
Charlie was terrific and boy could he sing too!
Why is the video soooo bad?! Ugh
Live Bullet version is better
LOL. I am biased because I am from Boston
@@terrencereardon6374that's Bwoston lol btw I knew that from the RMCP you pronounced song sawing lol btw I messaged on podbean saying where's the host all I hear is this alky and stoner 😂😂😂
