Great tutorial! Nice to see you making more videos these days.
Fantastic! That’s how I do it, only using cords drill motor modified. VLM works super on stairs, especially on the bullnose.
Excellent technique.!!
Excellent video!!!

There are a few different model out on the Makita .Version 2,3,4, Which one do you recommend?
I prefer using the 6 inch pad, as a base, and wrapping a micro fiber towel around it. Cleans it up a lot better than the pad it self.
I use the Oreck orbiter.
Also a great tool for stairs. Some prefer the Makita because of the versatility (stairs and upholstery) plus the additional control it adds.
Can you tell me what pads to get for scrubbing and extraction with the dual action polisher?
What do you think about the Orbot Micro?
This video inspired me I went and bought a makita
Go visit some thrift stores and get a couple of chairs. These are great to practice on. Congrats on the purchase!
This video grossed me out 🤣🤣
What driver is that? I have the same tool but the driver it came with doesn't hold the pads very well.
Some pads 'stick' better than others. In this case he's using Tuway pads which will work well with harpoon drivers like the Makita uses.
What about the soap residue you leaving on the carpet, dirt clings to that over time.
Hi Paul....we use encapsulating and crystallizing products that are residue free. This is one of the big benefits of using low moisture processes.
No extraction?
What if the stairs are really dirty?
Microfiber and cotton pads pull a ton of soil. Give it a try some time, you'll be impressed with what it can do.
I wonder if I can convert my 9" Makita grinder to a polisher?
Yes you can I did
@@dwaynebethell5294 Thanks
Is a hogs hair scrubbing pad too much for carpet?
Hi. Yes, it is. Take a look at our Moon pads. These are great for residential pre-scrub.

A spray bottle
@@johndeleon9910 😂😂
so tell me, how does a round pad get into a square corner?
Vacuuming is typically more than enough since most people don't walk on or into corners.
You take up so much of the camera space. Hard to focus with all that gross.
