Fantastic! That’s how I do it, only using cords drill motor modified. VLM works super on stairs, especially on the bullnose.

Be nice if I could get an answer to my earlier question "There are a few different model out on the Makita .Version 2,3,4, Which one do you recommend?"

I prefer using the 6 inch pad, as a base, and wrapping a micro fiber towel around it. Cleans it up a lot better than the pad it self.

    I use the Oreck orbiter.

Also a great tool for stairs. Some prefer the Makita because of the versatility (stairs and upholstery) plus the additional control it adds.

What driver is that? I have the same tool but the driver it came with doesn't hold the pads very well.

Some pads 'stick' better than others. In this case he's using Tuway pads which will work well with harpoon drivers like the Makita uses.

What about the soap residue you leaving on the carpet, dirt clings to that over time.

    • @encapstore5784

Hi Paul....we use encapsulating and crystallizing products that are residue free. This is one of the big benefits of using low moisture processes.

Microfiber and cotton pads pull a ton of soil. Give it a try some time, you'll be impressed with what it can do.

Vacuuming is typically more than enough since most people don't walk on or into corners.

You take up so much of the camera space. Hard to focus with all that gross.
