I had 2 Chefman. My 1st one had a manufactured issue. I had a screw fall out the basket would not close properly. I returned after 3 weeks of use. Received my 2nd Chefman replacement. Unfortunately after using for several weeks daily. It stopped working mid session when cooking. I am on my 3rd Chefman fingers cross it will last. I purchased extra warranty then the 1yr from the manufacturer. I like the machine but I haven’t had good luck. I think I got some duds.
Do you hear this running at all? I have the same one and it's definitely getting hot but I don't hear a fan running at all. I thought I would hear something.

Hi I have a question… I just plugged it in and I just wanted to leave it on the countertop but it keeps saying 400° and 15 minutes it won’t shut off to a black screen… Is the only way to shut off the screen to unplug it? I keep pressing the power button but the screen to never goes black it keeps saying 400 please advise and thank you...

No one bothered to answer me so I had to learn it on my own… When it’s plugged in, it’s just going to be lit and it’ll say 400 but it won’t actually be “on… Whenever you use it, the lights will still be on and then if you walk away when you come back in 10 minutes, then it’s dark… So you can leave it plugged in and just remember there’s no official power button. It will have the lights on and then go off automatically… It works great.
