I watched Aaron Judge homerun paths and his body position just as you said. I am a 5X batting camp you're 100% correct in this video.

Great video! Nothing about a swing can work until correct posture is optimized. And the hitter works around that posture. All 10u and 12u hitters should train posture heavy with PVC above anything else. Always drives me crazy when coach yells out to a kid “keeps eyes on ball”. Or my absolute favorite “stop pulling your shoulder out!” I instantly know the coach does not know the swing. I want to hear “get into correct posture that matches height of pitch and stay in it”.

I love this video . I love this video because everything I teach is included in this short video. I am sure your other videos catch the other parts of this but this is a really good quick video to that points out a large number of key elements. I have coached or played softball for 50 years. Nice job.

I find "Keep your head quiet" helps hitters see the ball better.

Ted Williams famously while coaching would put pine tar on the bat and tell his MLB players where he marked the ball after hitting it. The proof was on the ball. His eyes were legendary making him an ace in fighter planes twice in props during WW II and jets in Korea.

Good video. I just shake my head in the 3rd base coaching box every time I hear, "keep your eye on the ball!"

Do you not see it hit the bat, or is your brain unable to record what your eyes see? Maybe your eyes see it, and your body can respond to it, but the “camera” cannot “film” or “project” it?

I have seen the ball foul tip off of my bat. I promise!
